Grey1213, 21 May 2016That's the thing, it isn't. You can get an iPhone 6s for £539 on their website. The xper... morethat's what I was telling this one dude here but he can't understand since he hates the fruit Apple
Kg Htet, 21 May 2016You all should try this X in person to know what it really is_ somehow the reviews are just of... moreThat's the thing, it isn't. You can get an iPhone 6s for £539 on their website. The xperia x costs £460 and is only a midrange. This is quite literally the most rip-off phone of 2016. It doesn't even have the SD652.
Given the concessions of the x performance in terms of display/ less ram/ etc, if i was told it was the x performance with that price tag I'd have believed it.
Anonymous, 21 May 2016Nope. Only people with more money than brains would buy this.Called the High end user, which we appreciate value.
Sony = high performance, quality and terrific performance specs.
Paddyman, 20 May 2016Do Sony pay any attention to their rivals, as the review says HTC released the A9, a good look... moreOh yeah, like cheap Chinese craps! Including xiaomi, lenovo, blu and meizu! Buy those cheap chinese craps and forget quality!
Sony is the only oem to lower battery in numbers but actually, it's better than predecessors.
Kg Htet, 21 May 2016You all should try this X in person to know what it really is_ somehow the reviews are just of... morereally? my XPeria broke for 2m drop kid, don't be to sure about your opinion, it's yours, not all of us subscribers, I can buy an iPhone with the same price of some XPeria series, you're just an Apple hater
-Samsung/Asus User (currently)
You all should try this X in person to know what it really is_ somehow the reviews are just of one's opinion. Sony asks for a premium price but not like apple though their phones look equally premium. In my opinion, you will never appreciate an Xperia if you haven't used one in person. It just feels good and it won't break no matter how you drop it. :)
Anonymous, 21 May 2016Cant believe theres no Smallapps. One of Sony's best exclusive features and they got rid of... moreYeah I don't get it either why remove such good feature ? I hope X Performance will have those because I get used to SmallApps and use them a lot almost every day...if not it will be hard to adopt such change for me :(
Tann Hauser, 20 May 2016Beautiful device :-) Pretty bland looking device.
Browndynamite.., 20 May 2016They said that the sound is just OK and the camera review states that it's good but not great :(then check out the review again... from my personal experience sound is the best feature of Xperia devices nothing comes close if you connect any decent earphones, they said it's OK because speakers aren't very loud(and this was always the case with every Xperia that has stereo speakers) but sound is of good quality .
you have photos taken with the X in the review so judge camera quality for yourself . imo it's of great quality.
Cant believe theres no Smallapps.
One of Sony's best exclusive features and they got rid of it.
Absolutely stupid. Typical Sony logic nowadays.
UI is the only thing thats good on this.
What is Sony thinking? I honestly have no clue on direction Sony mobile division is heading, Sony shouldn't even announce this X series at all. Its quite not that interesting and pretty disappointed. I mean its like a step back for Sony. Honestly, the phone itself has nothing new, excepts: predictive auto focus, metal back and curve display. As much as I love to Sony previous products and satisfied with the z5 compact, but for me to anxiously hear about the launch of this phone and spec sheet... NO THANKS Sony you've just lost a loyal fan.
-overpriced for a midrange (mediocre chipset performance)
-poor audio quality
-no water resistant
-shorter battery life
-z3 compact alike design (just a curved glass and back metal)
-no small app for multitasking
-camera and video interface is the same
-video and camera performance is still avg at best.
Honestly I've had z3c and currently using z5c, both were great phones and I love it. However for Sony to market the X series as a beginning chapter of Xperia's? PLEASE SONY RECONSIDER A SECOND THOUGHT BEFORE LAUNCHING THE X SERIES...WHY SONY...WHYYYY?
