Samsung F300 review: A phone like no other

Samsung F300 review: A phone like no other - read the full textThe famous South Korean manufacturer has stopped being afraid of making experiments. Once it used to only make silver clamshells. Today, however, the situation has changed significantly. Samsung already has a fancy portfolio including several new, very untraditional models. One such phone is Samsung Ultra Music F300 of the Ultra Special line up.

Lucienium:

be more precise, M-R didn't say it's better than walkman phones, instead it's slim multimedia counterpart W880. but only with the presence of the better DSP audio algorithm and radio, better imaging algorithms in the camera, F300 "only" aheads on the music and imaging side against W880, but all in all W880 is proven to be better in general aspect.

Definitely better sound quality than Sony Ericsson Walkman phones according to a blind test survey ( http://www.mobile-review.com/r...880-en.shtml ). 5 out of 5 gave F300 a thumbs up on sound quality as compared to Sony Ericsson which only gets 2 out of 5

They have already invented First true Double-sided LCD for mobile phones. So one can expect upcoming dual side models to have 2 large screens and to get even thinner. Cheers!

This looks like an experiment which hasn't been thought through thoroughly! Respect to Samsung for trying something new, their handsets have been far more refreshing recently than the consistent portfolio expansion of Sony, Motorola et al. It seems like a very good idea, if only they hadn't concerned themselves overly with slimness and just built a functional media device. Oh, and making the music-player more friendly wouldn't have gone amiss either. I'll be sticking with my W810i, but this is a very positive step in device integration :-)

Just want to say that Nokia is the original experimenter even though they aren't experimenting much these days. However, I will give Samsung credit where due, regardless of which year or age, I still believe Samsung Polyphonic tones sound richer than every other brand. Most of all I just wanted to be the second poster...for the very first time. One day I will be first (smile).
