AnonD-368020, 03 Aug 2016I don't understand.... Those who go through the pain of carrying and changing extra battery wh... morecuz the definition of "normal" depends on the person XD
ppl that are used to change the batteries will prefer that way cuz it's what they know, also, there's the issue of the durability of the battery (which i personaly don't care cuz i buy a new phone every 2 years and the battery lasts as much) and it's fine that they like to swap the batteries since it's simple for them, i for once, carry my powerbank cuz i have a galaxy a3 sealed battery but i don't HAVE to use it to get through the day i just carry it just in case, same with the swapping
The pen doesn't work on the edges of the screen because of software restriction. Samsung know the pen isn't compatible with the curves so they limited the screen area the pen can register. Pretty lame for a "pro" phone.
Anonymous, 03 Aug 2016Still ugly and boring design. Add Android's interface on top of that and you have a phone that... moreSave your money for next lumia phone. You really deserve it. Note 7 or I Phone 7 won't be able to match your standards.
I don't understand.... Those who go through the pain of carrying and changing extra battery why don't they use power banks like a normal person.
Apple fans be like " it does not have enough bezels to hold the phone. Who would even consider to buy it. Too much screen too much color too much brightness.it hurts my eye."
i can't wait!!! i want it sow bad!!!!!!! it looks pretty
Have been using Samsung galaxy s5. Note Looks Great . Finally i am gonna buy New Galaxy .
AnonD-486598, 03 Aug 2016I agree with you. I also own Note 4 with Gear VR. I believe other than water resistant nothing... morei do still keep my note3, all with its extra battery kit, and it works like a charm till this day
proud owner of note4, and i dont even think to replace it to newer note
note4+extra battery kit, ftw
Pedro-TheNeighbor, 03 Aug 2016Good points and I can agree to most of your sentiments. I'm really worried about that 300 rech... moreSure, keep us updated regarding your usage of Note7. Good luck. You might perhaps consider getting Note 4, should probably cost you less but with better performance in my opinion. Good luck buddy.

I'm really worried about that 300 recharge cycles of the sealed battery, and I really can't have the ability to use an extended battery of 10,000mAh that's DIRECTLY powering the device - not some external power pack that's not going to help reduce degradation.
I'll be getting this for its camera and improved S Pen input quality. It'll be interesting to see if keeping up the power percentage to 50% to 90% with an attached Zerolemon powerpack will help. Theory is, it'll prolong the sealed battery cycles.
What Samsung should do is release a Note6 by Christmas.
Removable battery 4000mah,Sd820,4gigs of ram,waterproof,32gb basic storage,sd up to 1tb,metal removable back plate,fm radio, iris scanne,6,0 inch no bezel flat display,U Fs2.0,12mp front and 8.0mp back OIS cameras,1080p classic RGB amoled
Dear Shamesuck do you really think we're idiots? You just you have put the exactly same sd820 in your fresh new device? Wtf is wrong with you?
I agree with you. I also own Note 4 with Gear VR. I believe other than water resistant nothing is new when compared to Note 4. Note 4 is the best phone Samsung has ever produced. (also Note 3). Why is that MHL option is being ignored by all the manufacturers. How many people has the ability to use Wifi all the time to mirror my phone. Come on... just think how it will be to project your HD movies, recently captured video, photos in an outing through projector/computer monitor/Led TV or any HDMI input devise to a whole family or friends with ZERO latencey. This is the real fun for a common man. I LOVE MY NOTE 4...

Still ugly and boring design. Add Android's interface on top of that and you have a phone that's ugly both on the inside and on the outside.
Thanks, but no thanks! I was expecting something much better than this. Guess I'll stick to my Lumia or maybe (just maybe - if they will add more features to it) I'll buy an iPhone.
Pedro-TheNeighbor, 03 Aug 2016Best thing is really the return of the memory expansion to the Galaxy Note, and some carriers ... moreAnd the return of 64GB internal storage, not 32GB.
For the past five years I have been using Samsung's Note phones. I have owned the first Note, Note 3 and currently I am using Note 4 dual-SIM. As a long term user of Note phones I can say that Samsung has shifted from their original promise of providing robust and top quality phones, especially in the Note segment, I know some folks might disagree and that is okay.
The new Note 7 to me is pretty much like Note 5 except the reintroduction of SD-micro memory and perhaps some fancy tricks with S-pen. This is NOT a new feature per se as all previous Note models had it until Note 5 came around.
I personally think you cannot call a phone top high end when the phone is as good as the battery itself, thus these integrated batteries in Notes make the phone loose its robustness and resilience.
To have an edge and win back TRUE Note users Samsung must in their next Note have the following:
(1) Replaceable battery
(2) Expandable Micro-SD
(3) 16Megapixel or better on main camera, 5megapixel or better on secondary camera
(4) S-pen that is worth the name, the pen must not be able to be inserted wrongly.
(5) FM-radio, ( sometimes FM radios are more interesting than Internet radios).
Samsung just need to go back to Note 4 model and improve that model as Note 4 still beats all Note 5 and Note 7 basically on all counts! Until then will I and I guess other people look at a Note phone as it was meant to be. Let other non-Note users stick to those thin Samsung Edge but make Note phones to what they are meant to be.
Sticks with Note 4.
Note 7, 03 Aug 2016I have note 4 now..can I upgrade to note 7? the question is "can you ?"
