What's wrong with your stills algorithm sony?!! Over sharpened / un-natural images, especially when viewed at 1:1!! I have been experiencing the same ever since the Z3C. Other companies have been successful at producing great photos from your same sensors through optimized algorithms but not you! That way, I am not expecting DxO more than 75! Honor 8 on the other hand produces way better images - with way too few noise and no over sharpening!
Afterall when will you fix your damn algo when???!!! Now I'm seriously thinking about canceling my XZ order after seeing the camera samples on GSMA! Very very disappointed by the camera samples!!
Really, whoever says the XZ has got a "great" camera is a dumb or a blind! Sorry, but I totally hate Sony for their smartphone cameras!
DenisXD, 07 Oct 2016display colour accuracy.. ok. Tell me where in real life you see 100% black.. even in pitch ... moreNope. Color accuracy title goes to the iphone 7 plus screen. I agree with your other point though.
Trashboat, 15 Oct 2016Are the headphones LDAC compatible anyone ?nope
heres the list, only hires certified ones are ldac compatible
All previous dual-sim Sony Xperia flagship phones up to the Xperia Z5 had dedicated slots for microSD and Sim 2. If it's true that the XZ Dual will have shared microSD and Sim 2 slot, then that would be a major con.
About cons mentioned by gsmarena team..
1.fingerprint sensor not available for us market..
Its available but not activated by default for unknown reason..i think they have not permission to sell fingerprint enbaled phones in us market.. or something like that...
2.3GB ram not enough
I think it has more than enough ram to itself..
Handling games multitasking its good enough..
Remember old 32 bit windows os it can't handle more than 4 gb ram..
So its up with the android.. not with the ram..
Hey team gsmarena its a better phone than samsung j series..lol..
Owned it for 2 weeks now. So far, so good SONY!
Performance - Superb!
Battery Life - Satisfactory..

Grey1213, 08 Oct 2016Whatever dude. You're clearly full of **it when you don't even accept that Sony's triluminous ... morehaving a wider colour gamut than regular rgb displays doesn't mean oversaturation, it means more colours. As for the colour accuracy i repeat, manual options for this. Something no other company offered so far.
You do know what is white balance right?
First speed tests are out:
:you can take that to the bank :-)

You're clearly full of **it when you don't even accept that Sony's triluminous displays are oversaturated. They just did their best to bring their displays as close to amoled as possible. but fell short in all respects, while also abandoning colour accuracy in the process.

Grey1213, 03 Oct 2016How is it objective though? It is still subjective. Unlike testing display colour accuracy. I ... moredisplay colour accuracy.. ok.
Tell me where in real life you see 100% black.. even in pitch dark areas you see your eyes liquids and in very dark areas you still make out details.
amoled displays tend to make dark areas darker, and that's unnatural. Don't start with links and sht im talking about real life view, you never see 100% black it's that simple. Thankfully Sony displays are more realistic with less saturation and contrast, it might not be everyones cup of tea but real life colours aren't overstaturated.
As for Sony's display colour accuracy, last time I checked xperias have colour temperature settings, when no samsung gives that setting.
Meaning you can change the colour temperature to delta 6000, thus making xperias the most colour accurate displays.
Many of those who bash the XZ for only having 3GB RAM, saying that it should have more RAM, even if it doesn't impact the performance at present (but for 'futureproof"), are people that contradict themselves - many of them also say they don't care about the battery life cicle (a real futureproof feature) because they are changing phones after 1 or 2 years. If they are getting another phone in just 1 or 2 years, why do they need "future ready" RAM capacity? They won't use it. They are getting another phone when that "future needing more RAM" arrives. They would pay more today for something they wouldn't benefit now, neither tomorrow. Guess what, those are the same bashing the phone for being too pricey. But they want to change their flagship phones every 1-2 years, which, economically-wise, is the dumbest thing to do. Changing phones in 1-2 years may be the norm (and cheap) in USA due to telecom contracts, but in many other countries that doesn't apply, and paying for a feature you don't use, every 1-2 years, is not wise. Investing in a gadget only because its specs sheet is great, but you won't benefit from that, is a good definition for expensive.
