Anonymous, 08 Jan 2017Sorry, just out of curiosity - what is 3T display like? Compared to S7. I know S7 is clearly b... moreIt's a nice looking display. I'm not a fan of the sRGB mode, as the red channel is a bit much on the OnePlus 3/3T and so whites look too dirty and the screen looks just a bit too dull for my tastes. Blacks are deep, but only as deep as the OLED substrate is deep, which isn't actually as deep as the bezels! Power save on dark browsers is nice, though. My sister has an S7, and looking at them, you're not missing much.
Overall, I don't feel that AMOLED is as amazing as people say it is. A good FHD LCD screen with decently deep blacks and a good brightness (500 nits or higher) would suit me better. I really don't like the idea of burn-in, either.
They have an odd aspect ratio on the screen, but uses dedicated capacative buttons... why?
Use onscreen button, with a key-command to enable/disable full-screen mode. And doubble function keys on the keyboard that can act as the navigation keys in full-screen mode, but with that feature disabled when the buttons are shown on the screen.
Also I wish they had fitted some programmable keys on there, user programmable. great if they had e-ink displays embedded, to show the chosen symbol, but fine if not. Since I live in sweden I have 3 additional letter that I would have liked to been able to have dedicated keys for, even if they would not sit in the standard place. But it could also be usefull on a workphone, to have direct access to symbols that are often used in ones line of work.
Or for the hashtag and at symbols for people that are addicted to social media.

Sajjadfaisal, 09 Jan 2017Much more than you think. Physically Keyboard is a good idea for handy use
Jimmy chow, 09 Jan 2017Slighty too tall, crappy keyboard layout. This could flop. Blackberry is a good Brand Any its Look cool With Physical Key Board... Pretty Cool
Sajjadfaisal, 09 Jan 2017Much more than you think. yes I want physical keyboard, not the most so im not into priv but still not the least either. Mercury look like the deal.
I am seriously in love with this device. Kudos, BlackBerry and TCL!
mralam, 08 Jan 2017how many want physical keyboard at apple like premium price, they killing there own brand.Much more than you think.
LG superfan, 07 Jan 2017I actually like those silver bandsMe too.
My hope is the physical keyboard is better than the Priv's, as Priv's is no match to the keyboards of the Bolds', neither of the old classics like 8700/8800/8300/...
The Priv's hardware keyboard, dimensions, mediocre battery life made it no deal for me. The software keyboard is great, but lacked some of the languages I need.
The recipe for success may be - width under 70 mm (2.75 in, even better 66 mm/2.60 in), physical and software keyboards up to the previous standards, decent battery, modest price.
Regarding the design - I do not object the top, but you can expect such attitude from a former owner of SE P1i, P910i, P800i, Ericsson's R380.
