It's really confusing to keep up with them already" its positive! Many option give you what fit for you! You like it then pay one and enjoy. Look at fruit boy, what they have to choose? Old iPhone or new one with crazy tag price or SE which is the worst phone that apple have made so far.
Why is Xiaomi releasing model after model after model? It's really confusing to keep up with them already. I'm afraid Xiaomi will have the same fate with Letv or Leeco. Anyway Leeco is fighting back and their Leeco Max 2 is on sale right now at pickedgadget. Sounds evil but a struggling company is sometimes good for the consumer. Cheaper price! lol.
ithehappy, 15 Feb 2017God knows who in their right mind is gonna buy these sort of garbage even at that price! Below... moreYour comment history precedes you, Samsung fanboy. Aside from reasonable Google Pixel comments, you've been blindly praising Samsung and downplaying every other brand. Let me show you the light:
Samsung sucks. 1) They took all MSM8998 so no one else can match the S8 unless they release later, which would ruin sales.
2) They offered average performance on phones with the same chipsets as others. The best performer for MSM8996 is OnePlus 3 and followed by Sony, then Samsung.
3) You want to know how much other companies charge for MSM8953 (Galaxy J7)? $209. Galaxy J7? $239 unlocked, $149 with subsidy. Not only that, there's a fingerprint sensor on the Redmi Note 4X. Screen is a measly 720P for $239; I have a free Galaxy On5 with the same resolution, and it costs $100 for a pure POS. Sure, it's a midranger. Alright, how about a high end phone? A Galaxy S7 goes for $485 used. A brand new OnePlus 3T is $400. OnePlus 3T uses the newer MSM8996 PRO and a newer and better camera sensor. Even a regular OnePlus 3 topped performance charts, over the S7. The ZTE Axon 7 uses MSM8996 and has dual speakers and excellent headphone drivers for the same price as the OnePlus. All these phones show much better features and performance compared to anything Samsung can offer.
4) The Galaxy S7 is not as smooth as the Google Pixel. Overlooking slightly higher clock speeds (200Mhz boost on the PRO), it's totally software-related. Samsung is less optimized and contain more bloat than others.
Based on these fact, it is EVIDENT that Samsung is inferior to the brands you made fun of by their nationality. Stop fanboying over Samsung and stop commenting like a troll. Your spite is disrepectful.
I have never witnessed a situation where more than two cores are necessary for an android device. A simple process such as installing an update for an application takes a lengthy process no matter how many cores the android device has. I'm not sure if it's an android issue or a snapdragon issue, but if someone can enlighten me on why more cores are important, please do...

Built quality just fine and one of the best in it price range. What you expect? With that price you want S7 quality? 9 Porsche? XZ? mi Note 2 or mi mix? Grow up hater!
When Xiaomi choose RN4 with SD625, I believe that they prefer phone to get better battery life and sacrifice power performance (single core performance), so this phone not to hard core gaming user, for hard core gaming just pick RN4 with MT, that get you enough or get mi 5 for more power. I think RN4 will not launch with SD 650 or higher since they have choose MT as partner for RN4 with power.
So RN4 with SD is power efficient and RN4 with MT is power performance (single core performance).
i read that the matte colour is bound to be chipped off in this review. Is this really true because the matte black variant is not available till now.How do you know about this? please help because i was planning to buy the matte black variant

Still no Mi Note 2! My colleagues had to order theirs from the filipines and singapore for the globale versions! China thinks that just because india is 3rd world country doesn't mean we can't afford real flagship phones.

Yep, this version for Indian market of Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 looks like Redmi Note 3/Pro, or Redmi 3s from back with top-bottom plastic rear panels. DaXiong, 16 Feb 2017Because A72 is twice as fast as A53. Yep. Didn't noticed the Architectures are different. Just saw the specs in too much hurry and looked at only clock speed. :)
Anonymous, 16 Feb 2017It's due to processor architecture A53 vs A72.Thanks for your response. I literally forgot to look at Architecture saw this in too much hurry and saw only clock speed details. :)
