Hi samsung fans...i really want to get this phone. i don't care if the ringtones can't be change. what's important to me is that, does this phone's applicaton easy?? i mean i have walkman phone, & it's cool 'cause when it comes to file transfer(specially music track transfer) there's no fuss for walkman phones. just drag & drop. it's that simple. i hope this e590 is i think what i hope. i'm a music dude, hope this e590 won't hurt my expectations...'cause i really do like this phone too. Now, it's been said that this is a simple phone...so i hope transfering music files(PC-phone & vice versa) is simple too. just like the SE-w200i. the big difference between SE-w200i & Samsung-e590 is that e590 has 3mp cam. only vga for w200i-i don't know why they have it built only vga??(i don't like the style cam. at the back of w200i...it's too sad & lonely but in fairness, you can create playlists as many as you like..u to 50playlists.) Anyways, could someone try to enlight me or perhaps help me answer my question regarding how easy is transfering music files PC-Phone & vice versa?? i don't care if it only has a four playlists. Anyways thanks in advance to the one who will answer my question

Sucks!! Cannot install new tones and games. Even the videos do not play when installed.
You have to be content with what is already in the unit.

The display is excellent. At 220X220 in that small square, it is relatively better than the display of Nokia 6230i (with 208X208) which GSMArena praised a lot in the review...

In my opinion, it's the best, smallest and affordable camera phone on the market. However, it's equiped with a limited capability media player. The player has only 4 playlists. It doesn't allow you to create new playlist though. Moreover, you can't add mp4 file to the playlist which is supposed to be only for mp3. The video file can only played through the file manager. What dissappointing me is that the sound of the video does not go through the a2dp bluetooth headset. If you can live with this limitation, the rest of the functions work just fine.

Dear whoever said
"if the screen size is square 1.8 inches (45.72mm)& phone is 42mm wide according toyour review, huh?",

The 1.8 inches means that it is diagonally 1.8 inches and not horizontally or vertically.

Anyways, on the features part of the review, you guys say the screen is 1.8 inches 220 x 220 resolution. On second page it states 1.9 inches and 210 x 210 resolution. This needs to be fixed.

how does this phone looks childish if i may ask?
it's clean and industrial looking to my eye.
and a very welcome sight too, in a sea of bling phones. (or should i say childish?)

i just got it yesterday and i already really like it!
- good camera
- good mp3 player
- good fm
- micro sd storage up to 2GB
- tiny
- weightless
- edge
- bluetooth (even stereo)
- etc...

for those who had a samsung, menu will be easy to navigate in and well, for others too in fact i think

the design is not the one of a U600 or U700 i admit it, but in fact i really like it: simple but with quality

it has all "necessary" things i think for a today phone, without all unnecessary things that made other phones so expensive

The phone rings and vibrates so I don't know what you are talking about.

I was looking for an ultralight pocket phone that wouldn't snap in half if I accidentally sat on it and this phone is it. At 65g it weight less than my switchblade key for my car and having a 3mp camera is just a bonus.

I just wish the phonebook search methods were a bit better.

Excellent basic phone. I like the buttons, the display, form factor and simple elegant look. Now, give me one without the camera and I'll buy it immediately. Not ALL of us want cameras.

What does "and STILL no ring+vibrate." mean?

Even D900 can ring and vibrate simultaneously.

Good review. Nice looking phone and good features, but I would never get it because they still use that awful UI that you can't change. Those icons are too simple and the menus very crowded.

Almost forgot:
I only saw it in black or gray, too. No white.

Not a design marvel, but a nice little phone with a cool camera.
For only €198,55 (unlocked), it really is cheap.
Voice dialing still missing =( and STILL no ring+vibrate.
