i just bought this E590 yesterday in a mall near our house i was excited about this phone because its really compact and cute it has 3.0 mp camera i compared it in my other phone the u700 i think this is more durable than u700 1st its a block style no need for the ribbon like u700 it can be damaged after 5mos of using a slide phone, now on its 2nd day of my E590 i got pissed off because it keeps on doing cancel or autoback when im going to send a sms or just navigate the menu, the worst scenario is it will turned off and will restart a couple times... now im planning to bring it on a samsung shop,, in this year i just bought 2 samsung phones U700 and E590 that are DEFECTIVE,,ok just a piece of advice choose sony ericson or nokia rather than samsung phones so that you wont be experiencing what im in now.

In general E590 its OK. There are few things that makes me unhappy such as: few alternatives of ring-tones, message alert is only 1 (no other choice and is to short so sometimes I don't notice if there is a message comes in).Another thing that bothering me is I bought this stuff w/o CD software! Is it so from the great co like samsung?

Hi samsung fans...i really want to get this phone. i don't care if the ringtones can't be change. what's important to me is that, does this phone's applicaton easy?? i mean i have walkman phone, & it's cool 'cause when it comes to file transfer(specially music track transfer) there's no fuss for walkman phones. just drag & drop. it's that simple. i hope this e590 is i think what i hope. i'm a music dude, hope this e590 won't hurt my expectations...'cause i really do like this phone too. Now, it's been said that this is a simple phone...so i hope transfering music files(PC-phone & vice versa) is simple too. just like the SE-w200i. the big difference between SE-w200i & Samsung-e590 is that e590 has 3mp cam. only vga for w200i-i don't know why they have it built only vga??(i don't like the style cam. at the back of w200i...it's too sad & lonely but in fairness, you can create playlists as many as you like..u to 50playlists.) Anyways, could someone try to enlight me or perhaps help me answer my question regarding how easy is transfering music files PC-Phone & vice versa?? i don't care if it only has a four playlists. Anyways thanks in advance to the one who will answer my question

Sucks!! Cannot install new tones and games. Even the videos do not play when installed.
You have to be content with what is already in the unit.

The display is excellent. At 220X220 in that small square, it is relatively better than the display of Nokia 6230i (with 208X208) which GSMArena praised a lot in the review...

In my opinion, it's the best, smallest and affordable camera phone on the market. However, it's equiped with a limited capability media player. The player has only 4 playlists. It doesn't allow you to create new playlist though. Moreover, you can't add mp4 file to the playlist which is supposed to be only for mp3. The video file can only played through the file manager. What dissappointing me is that the sound of the video does not go through the a2dp bluetooth headset. If you can live with this limitation, the rest of the functions work just fine.

Dear whoever said
"if the screen size is square 1.8 inches (45.72mm)& phone is 42mm wide according toyour review, huh?",

The 1.8 inches means that it is diagonally 1.8 inches and not horizontally or vertically.

Anyways, on the features part of the review, you guys say the screen is 1.8 inches 220 x 220 resolution. On second page it states 1.9 inches and 210 x 210 resolution. This needs to be fixed.

how does this phone looks childish if i may ask?
it's clean and industrial looking to my eye.
and a very welcome sight too, in a sea of bling phones. (or should i say childish?)
