Shouldn't this be compared to the 5300 rather than the 3250?

just thought id mention that there is an auto keypad lock. well for my phone at least there was. unless you all mean some other auto keypad lock or if im mistaken.
And concerning the dedicated music keys, for me the stop button works by just holding down the play and pause button. but ah well.. perhaps its different firmware version or something..
and just thought id mention that i realllly do not like the earphones that come with this phone. all though its an canal in-ear earphone, and although it is made by some well known brand (it escapes my mind currently) it does not have any low bass and an all right mid-range. If you want good sound out of the earphone jack then i highly recommend a decent in-ear earphone. But ah well im abit fussy so it might just be me but it is a big difference.
overall a pretty good phone =)

Indeed a very cool fone considering it's unique design and features. Definitely outways the Sony Ericsson & their walkmans. Can't wait to get my hands on this. Thanx Nokia.

Well buddy, you would have to think of what you're gonna say. Nokia was the first in placing a 3.5mm (and even 2.5mm) connector to their phones.
SonyEricsson still has to figure that out.

Why? SonyEricsson Walkman phones also don't have a standard 3.5mm connector right? or is there any? Name it.

Wasted.
If nokia added a 3.5mm jack it would be a sure buy for me over the walkmans

"Bizarre Menu and C keys"
I'd rather have bizarre keys then the same ones as everyone else.

Still N91 has the best audio quality among all mobile music solutions. though i hope the Upcoming N81 would succeed that 2 year old phone.

well heres the real deal why i hate sony ericsson is beucz i dont like the user interface ... and when u change themes the shortcut icons looks the same ... the firmware looks same in almost every phone ... i dont like the designs of the phones those reminds me of sponge bob square pants ... so many applications and games cannot be installed to the phone ... those are few reasons why i hate sony e. ...
and this nokia 5700 xpress music will make u understand wht a symbian phone and a music phone is really about ... cuz its a combination of both ... sony ericsson walkman series phones are going down infront of this smart music device ... hold on for more it just came to the market so dont wine saying that sony ericsson got the higher music phone market ... this phone will show its colors soon ... dont be afraid sony ericsson the xpress music series wont do anything to ur walkman series phones but i think its time to pack ur little magic show and go home cuz this time nokia is not gonna stop ...

dats nothing, here is d REAL SCORE in worldwide market share
http://www.mobileisgood.com/st....php#current
1 - Nokia (38.05%)
2 - Samsung (14.22%)
3 - Motorola (13.50%)
4 - Sony Ericsson (9.47%)
5 - LG (7.26%)
6 - Other brands (17.5%)
as we can see above, Sony Ericsson needs a WHOPPING over 4x more market share to surpass Nokia, the worlds undisputed NO. 1 handset maker for years! SE needs to beat Moto and Samsung first before dreaming of beating Nokia LOL!
u were talkin about a certain market NOT the OVERALL market around d globe. wat MATTERS MOST is d figure above =)

il tell you people something
Right here in the UK(England) Sony Ericsson's Walkman and Cyber-Shot are Outselling all the Nokia's
and this 5700 is not even the top 10 of top selling
the Sony Ericsson W850i is selling Like Hot Cake's :D:D:D
people only Buy Nokia's becuase of their *Symbian* and *Status* ...
but in Reality Sony Ericsson are the Original's
