Good reviews thanks, everyone please bear in mind that a change in 3dB is actually a change of 1.4 times and the way the human ear response means it is only just perceptible and some people would not even notice it, and a change of 10dB in real life listening is percieved as being twice/half as load by the human ear, just thought I would shed more light on sound pressure and measuring in dB's.

I just switched from htc touch diamond to nokia n82. According to your test this would have been a switch vom "good" to "below average".
You know what? It was a switch from "unacceptable" to "impressive". Damn i just think that yorur noisemeter might check for the loudest crunchs und beeps, Its not only about high tones but about quality. The htc touch might produce tones that can make you puke but are loud.
So going for loudness only doesnt make it. For me this proved the whole thing to be inaccurate.
Sorry but thanx anyways!

Yeah GSMArena is really great. Just one thing to suggest:
If possible, in your regular mobile phone reviewing routine, it would be nice to see how a handset's battery life fares in the phones mostly used capabilities like:
1. Maximum music playback time with the GSM radio module turned on.
2. Maximum hours of talktime over 2G and 3G.
3. Maximum video playback time.
4. Maximum video recording time.
I do find these factors to be extremely useful since the usual manufacturer's claim with regards to the battery life most of the times aren't that honest enough and somewhat turns out to be wrong estimates only.
Thanks

Neither my name nor the Client/IP-tag nor the comments are new to GSMArena. Positive attitude blended with etiquette defines my posts. And so ... I'm offering my true "Hats Off" to GSMArena audio testing labs and its personnel.
Basic guy with basic necessities using basic phones -- well, most of the times. And so, audio quality, network reception, battery talk-time are the primary features I'm interested in. Lovely work the GSMArena is offering me -- that too for free!
In case of cell phones GSMArena reserves the same place that belongs to CCleaner in case of PC cleaning. Nice indeed. Bravo!

Your site is without doubt the best site for mobile phone testing! Actually, I find the sound test very interesting. Other sites on internet usually do not mention anything about how good the speakers are. This year I have bought two telephones (HTC 730 & Nokia E51) which dissapointed me very much when it comes to the speakers. My old Nokia 6233 outperformed them, so I am still using this phone. Anyway, I think one more colon could be added to the speaker test. And that is something about the quality of the sound. Then I think the sound test is perfect.

This is good but we need to know more.
There really should be an additional column for speakerphone quality. Something along the lines of poor/average/good/very good/excellent.
You can have an ultra loud speakerphone with terribly distorted sound. No one wants that...

Nokia 6233 has better speakers than the 6500 Slide ands its noticeable. So i don't think your results are that accurate!!!
