hi - the reviewer mentioned that itap is much more user-friendly than t9 when it comes to texting.
as i've never used a motorola b4, i just wanted other user's opinions on texting with the v8.
thanks.

To all of those who usually criticize Motorola for being feature-lacking: Motorola is a dedicated Fashion phone manufacturer, so quality, design and the basics come first as always. No need to worry though, the true monster Moto's will hit the shelves later this year.

Hi i was looking at this phone but can't believe it is not 3G. I used to have the v3x and that was 3g enabled are there any other decent sexy looking clamshell phones like this that offer 3G video calling??

i hate moto before, bcos not user friendly enough
then i used nokia and se
but when i saw e2 with the linux system
it changed my view to the moto
i bought an e2
and right now also bought v8 2gb
actually it can install program called MPKG which usually free that custom made by linux user
i have benifited a lot when i using the e2
and bcos v8 using the linux java as well
i know they will be much more mpkg program that suits with v8
considering v8 have longer life span and much more famous than the e2
why not nokia? bulky and the sounds worst then se
why not se? not much improvement currently compare with last yr...

Damn Moto....how long are you gonna ride the RAZR tip?? It's getting bit long in the tooth.
According to your 3rd Q revenues, you're gonna need something a bit "fresher" than a re-hashed RAZR to help with your sales slump. Moto used to be on top, now they kinda hover near the bottom.

Man, what I mean is: this review was more about the good things of the phone. I DO AM A Motolover, but I prefer the reviews with more criticism like the Krzr review, and to tell you the truth, (we all know that) in the V8 is still missing A LOT OF things! and, for example, look at the "main disadvantages" parts.. I dont know why but they were very nice with motorola on this review..
but.. ok!
:D

There is a Rzar 2 that does have 3g, it is called the Moto V9. I wonder how much will be different with the V9 and the V8.

if they've used UIQ 3.1 instead of Linux Java hen it'll be more interesting handset!
Linux Java only installs java apps? that's bad, considering the fact that it has 500Mhz CPU!!!
