Just did a GPS battery test using garmin on my N82 (not sure why it wasn't done in the review?) and I got 4 hours 46 minutes of continuous running with a full GPS fix, a route selected and active, and with the backlight permanently on too.

Pretty good imo :)

Hi
I have a 6120c which is just amazing, it has everything and the design is just perfect, it has only 2 problems, No wi-fi and the camera is not that good... But the camera is not my problem...

the 6120c is loud enough for me and the music player is good...
Wi-Fi is important to me, but loudness is more important...

can anyone give an advice? shall i upgrade to N82 or it is really not loud, would i hear it in a noisy place?

Hi, I can only get this phone in Silver, but much prefer it in BLACK! Has anyone changed their N82's fascia?? It seems you can only get third party fascias in black from eBay but I am unsure of the quality! Can anyone help??

I think N82 is a great phone but it never can be as beautiful as SonyEricsson phones.

The wait is killing me, come on Nokia before I end up buying a SE C902 or G900!!!

People who experienced the N73 will be really annoyed with the Plastic feel of the N82 ,the N73 body would have been better used but just the keypad layout change an this would have made the N82 more attractive to get than more than the current N82 the cheap built on the phone does not impress me at all an was expecting something more solid built from Nokia an they expecting the N82 to do well but People will not like Plastic feel of the N82

I bought this phone on 4th May 2008 for Rs 19,990 from Mobile Store In kolkata.

The phone is faster than N95 ordinary not the 8gb one.
The camera is better than N95.Images are sharper at longer distance than N95.

One bad thing about the phone is the volume of music/speaker through the stereo speakers.Its like Nokia 3230 single speaker.In terms of volume its is quite lower than n72 and no way close to n73.Dont pick up this phone if you want to enjoy music through loud speaker.Even the bundled headphones is not so good, no next,play,prev buttons only voulme keys .I am really annoyed with Nokia, after spending 20k I was exxpecting more...N73 is so good.

In my opinion N73 is now the best buy..2gb memory, boss headset,loud music.(even the bundled normal headset with remote is better than the one bundled with N82) same battery only a little slower for for 8k less.

I am a hardcore symbian fan, and i like all phones running on it(except touch screen versions used by sony's phones),i am planning to buy nokia 82 coz its the best 5mp cam available in the market.Symbian apps has a less footprint and with such good RAM and a good processor of the N82, it will rock in speed and battery too is cool

very nice set.i think the best mobile in nseries.for than a normal mobile,better than a digital camera,best from other 5 megapixel camera phones

n82 is the best phone.no doubt it will be the bestseller. i bought the set for appx. 600 dollars n i feel lucky buying it when the prices were gona rise.i would prefer this over n95 8gb,k850 or ku990 (options when i was surveying) so jst go for it.

n its keypad gives you problems for a week at max until u get useto it.

So frustrated !!!!!!!!!!

After reading all these positive reviews I had so much expectations (I loved the N73 so I was an easy target!).

I bought the N82 2 days ago and am extremely frustrated, and the customer hotline did not give a .....!

Feeling hopeless I registered to My Nokia to send a feedback as a last attempt to get someone care about my issue.

I still hope they live by the standard that every customer would expect from a global leader, and give them one week to provide satisfactory support (I also work in a global company that would not let a customer that dissatisfied).

If they do (or they don't), I will keep you posted so that you have the exact idea of how great this company is. Or is not.

ok, now i duno if im da only 1, but indoors i found dat da n73 and n95 sort of enhances pictures. like things become darker or shinier and stuf, whilst the sony ericson gave a 'true' picture. is that problem solved in the n82?
