Dont buy 5610.. its totaly useless phone, wheneve u removes bettery it will first resets your profile. all the settings u made will go away. u will need to do all again. it will hang atleast once a day and yes automatic switch off is the good facility. it will not run any java base application which will use GPRS its tooo bad.. i have list of problems but not be possible to list here. simply i ll say through away ur thoughts from this model.

I too thought this phone had everything. But it doesn't. Regardless of what was quoted it does NOT have proper GPRS. So whilst the sound quality is second to none and the screen is incredible, you cannot use any Java internet dependent programs. Opera mini (even though it's pre installed), Yahoo Go! Google maps, yell.com mobile. None of them work on this phone! Seeing as i use my phone for the internet. This is a seriously bad thing, especially since even inferior models can do this. Ugh!

yeah guyz is this phone worth to buy? i've been considering to switch my crap sonny ericsson k850i with this..is the camera good?is it smooth? my sonny ercisson's camera keeps on hanging i hate it.. which is good 6500 slide or this one? appreciate if anyone could give me idea thanks alot..have a nice day...

I have the 5610 and I want to turn the sound of the camera off!! I have looked everywhere and it doesnt seem to have the option and I have read up that nokia have disabled the option to turn it off? But does anyone know another way to do this?

if anyone has the problem where the 'crackling sound'when listening to the music from your headphoness here's how to fix it ! :]

- turn the volume to zero
- take out the headphones
- stop the music (exit it completely)
- reopen the playlist/song/music
- play it on zero volume
- plug in the earphones
- turn up the volume :)

works every time for me ! :D

may be i will buy this phone but i have some questions:
Is the camera good?
Is the flash good?
Is the sound clear?

i bought this phone, i simply loved it.... great feature like camera quality, music etc.. but the slide feature dint last long, the slide came out(broke) as i keep my cell inside my pocket... so B careful and handle with care! as nokia service is pathetic!

This phone is great as it has almost got everything. I love its clear screen display lots and so is the camera and not forgetting good sound music. Very nice!! And a good looking phone too ( I got the blue colour) :)

i have brought this nokia 5610 and had it a few months now the screen as gone like a t.v which has not been tuned in , the screen is not craked and have updated the software but the phone is lying in a draw switched off crap phone.

again people, i bought the fone from a really good retail store.. i paid juss a very little more.. and got an original fone (not messed Upon) AGAIN PEOPLE THE FONE IS REALLY GOOD) but make sure u buy it from a good retail store and not.. those cheap stores.. get me !!
I've had it for a month.. and no probs yet... and I was doing my reaserch on this site for the best fone reasonable music fone for 3 months and i came down tooo dis after intense, comparing and reading comments... TRUST mE BUY the fone..

This phone is gr8, but...hey does anybody knows if the cam takes too much time while saving the taken image ??
and what about the audio quality, is it loud and clear as it's written in the official infos ?

this fone is got everything, im juss waiting for my pay. nd id be off too buy it.. ive done sum crazy comparison's wid thie fone, n so its the best, all features, reasonable price, dun worry bout the problems, buy a 5610 made in germany or hungary other countries wouldnt be all that good.. i suggest people to go for this fone.. everybody got an n73, i think its boring, 5610 got its own class, n style, and it's only draw back is that its and s40, not s60..
it doesnt matter to me.. and as everyone knows that the music is awesome the best.. nd the camera is real good too, a double flash.. with auto focus, nd lots of other features. its even light and a bit compact.. just make sure u buy it from a well renowned dealer, nd instead of the other small shops. not worries, no hassle.. the better dealers even got a good long warranty on it..
