Well this phone seems so good. I had the chance to test this beauty last saturday (since this mobile arrived to my country just the last week) and itīs great. The fact that is a lot cheaper than w880 and has twice the memory card and is upgradable up to 8gb makes me think more in this option. well done Nokia

I had this phone for a few days but returned it. this phone suffers from little audio crackles when playing music. sometimes 3-4 times per track but often every few seconds. i tried adjusting the eq, lowering volume, different file formats, upgraded firmware to 3.63, everything i could think of but no luck. i sugest you check this before buying. and do a google search. or see this http://discussions.europe.noki...nding&page=1
some people dont seem to have this problem but a lot do.
Another complaint is that the volume increments are very large, so at one setting the volume is to low but then one step up and its too loud.
Also wish it had a flash and torch light like my old se w810i
Apart from that i really like the phone, really nice and thin. battery life was good. About time they started using a standard 3.5mm jack, one of the main reasons i baught this phone. great screen and themes. camera was very slow but picture quality was pretty decent, even in low light.
well ive gone back to my w810i. no 3.5mm jack and feels like a brick after this but it works for mp3s and has autofocus and a torch. i wish there was a phone that has it all but i guess i will have to wait.

are there anyone here who has successfully sync their 5310 with Mac OS X? i am really interested by this phone, but since nokia is known for its inability for direct syncing with mac, doubts begin to spur...

It doesnt matter whether the camera is bad all that matters is the radio and the player for the music lovers. The weight is unbelieveable but good. But am not sure abt the restarting problem bse i wanted to buy it this month.
SHOULD I GO AHEAD!!!!!!????

Nice phone. Audio quality of this phone is even better than my ipod touch. My phone doesnt have any problem of restarts at all. If you want a music player with phone capabilities n5310 is the best.

It's a great phone. Been two week with this phone and overall I'm impressed. Camera is weak and slow but it's no camera phone. Get a SE K series for camera. For music, this one is way beyond most SE W series I've tried. Better get a serious music headset (I'll try a dBE-01 or CrossRoads X3i tomorrow) and for much much less than an iPod and a comparable phone, you get a 2-in-1 killer phone for music everyday. I've no need for complicated series 60 Nokias (N series). Easy to use, nice design.
One drawback though, battery life could be bigger but slim design must restrict battery capacity.
Thumbs up!

I just bought it about a few days ago from Softlogic in Sri Lanka. I must say that I am very impressed with the phone. The slimness of the phones is pretty cool. The quality of the pictures in nothing too specials, but seriously like the quality of the sound. I prefer the 'red' to any other colour ranges. I also like that it is very light in my pocket and is very user friendly like all Nokia phones.

the only thing that sucks here, it ocasionally restarts by itself, and when it does, youll have to wait until the phone reads the sd card... before using the music player... and.. its xpress music, the camera is a bonus for me... its emphasis is music...

This N5310 is indeed a slim beauty which features a sleek design.
I've been using this phone almost a month and I don't see my phone's backlighting luminates unevenly. But still so, I found that the speaker's volume is making aan annoyance. I could've miss more than 5 miss calls especially outdoor.
