@ Dani
FYI the 3110c is NOT a low-end phone. It's an entry-level mid-range phone, considering that it has microSD slot.

Almost all SE phones are rubbish (except for a few). Doesn't matter if it was low-end or high-end, they still produce weak phones. Face the facts, SE fanboys. They don't have REAL low-end phones w/ monochrome displays, and they don't have REAL high-end phones w/ a powerful OS.

No, that is not true, if SE wanted to enteer to the low end market they would launched phones with monochromatic displays. For that reason isn't in the 1st or 2nd place seller: because they really don't reach the lowest markets like Nokia or Moto.
And I'm so sure that phones like W380 OR w350 (SPECIALLY THE FIRST ONE) won't be cheap. SE overprice their mobiles to be phones with same features on a different body (as they always do), the same interface, etc.

among all of these low-end phones from SE, I would prefer W350i. Amazed with its classic half-flip type like my Ericsson T28 that I ever used last 4 years ago. What a memory... and hey succeed to change it as Walkman phone. Salute.....

I agree with Radix299. Very weird that SE have gone back to the blocky bolded font they used to use...I have a Z710i (which I love- best phone I've ever used) and it has the new thinner font which I prefer. Maybe they really are going backwards...!!
Some thoughts, all handsets look really nice. Such a shame though that they only have 1.3mpx cameras (except the T280 which is good for a lowend), you can make good prints out of 2mpx photos. They all have small displays too, which is again a problem. Other features are decent though a bit standard (radios are welcome though and I like the sense control thing). None have infrared, also a shame to me but only because I'm one of the only poeple who still use it lol

Nice little low end phones from SE here. Probably good for teenagers and those that don't want to spend much money. Please remember, not everyone is looking for a high end, and expensive, super-duper 5+megapixel camera, GPS, Ipod replacement and WiFi enabled Pocket PC combo. And, these little gems are just right for those people.

You're saying oh they're for lower end markets (Defending SE) but when Nokia released their low end market ones, you go in there and bash them!? I kinda like the W380 if it wasn't as bad as it is. N95 8GB is thee king, everyone knows, it's not like I can compare it to these though, I'd have to compare the low end ones, come on people use your head when debating these things. I used to love Motorola, my first phone was a nokia, i loved it, then got the razr then v3i, v3x, ming, rokr e6, rizr z8... the z8 was soooo bad i got an n73 then n95 8gb (eur), e51, now waiting on n95 8gb (nam). Not super impressed by any of sony's though, they don't have much to the eye and always with the tri-band... I like the look of the K630 though.
Anyway please, I'm not hating on you SE fans, just saying look at other phones. I always do, I mean I found a few SE I like.

The gesture control of the w380 is very good but a problem I can see is if your phone is ringing you might put your hand over the camera by mistake and reject your call.

what's the point reviewing this phone?
people who buy this low end phone really don't care about the features whatsoever.
i doubt they even read the internet.

i think you guys are missing the point...
high end phones are expensive...parts for high end phones are expensive
what more can you add to a low end phone without raising it's price? well...not much
and if i'm right...about 70% of the sold phones are low end...normal people don't need a phone that's complicated to use, they just need a phone to talk...so why spend money on something that's not usefull to them?
======== and now...let's face the facts...
s.e. are cloning themselves??(whell...I'm not gonna lie...they are)...and to the guy with too many parts made 2 years ago...i think you are right
motorola??think again...each released phone has a less or more expensive brother(that has almost the same functions, and the same s**tty menu),or 2,or 3...maby even more..."V3" line for instance...damn me if i can remember how many
nokia...might say same s**t...different phone...design??yeah right...that department is dead for ages
samsung??you gotta be joking...they release a lot of phones...
and when i look...those damn phones have the same stupid functions...just different design
lg??i think this company would have been better if they stayed at makin' plasma tv's,and house items (they probably think how to
build a fridge in a phone ... actually that would be a damn good ideea actually ... cold beer in your phone :D)
========other brands?? in my country other brands are a rarity...so i'm not gonna act smart by talking about phones i havn't used
let's face it...no corporation can make a good phone with cheap parts...all low end phones are rubbish, that's why high end phones are expensive...and high end phones are rubbish too(with a few exceptions)
and can somebody please kill those n00bs posting "me first!me first!"???

I agree with SE_h8er. I own a SE phone, and when I got my k750i it was hot shit and top of the market. These days - a full 3 years later might I add - SE is releasing phones of LOWER quality! What the hell are they doing?
The last 12 phones SE has released have been to "reach the low end" markets. How many times do they need to do it over and over? Perhaps putting some NICE features in a low end phone would help them sell, not just repackaging the same thing over and over. I honestly think SE must have built too many components for their phones 2 years ago, so now they're trying to use them all up or something. Pathetic.
Unless I see something nice Feb 10th, I'm going Nokia.

I think some of you just miss the point here.
SE is just trying to reach all market level available out there.
Jeez, all other manufacturer does it as well.
I used to be Nokia fans. But I think its designs are just boring. Samsung? I had it once, but then it just hang for no particular reason. Never again I will go back there.
Motorola has pretty cool design - but GSMArena got it right - its user interface has never been updated, it is sickening. Like having a Lexus with a Toyota engine... Oh, wait, it is Toyota engine... Maybe a Ferrari with a Kia engine. Well, you know what I mean.
Anyway, SE Rocks! Starting all the way from SE T68i, Nokia 8210, 8910, 7210, 3650, 6100, 6800, N-gage, 6820, 6260, 6630, 9300, 6680, then finally N90 (I remember it was huge!), Stupid Samsung, Some SE, And after W800i, there is no turning back.
