Nokia 8800 Arte review: Art of seduction

Nokia 8800 Arte review: Art of seduction - read the full textStainless steel and OLED screen: there's no way a handset with that kind of features will ever blend in with the crowd of handsets. Add the hefty price tag and you got the high-end biting the dust too, just like that. But then, there's always someone...

One question...

I'm looking to purchase this phone the only thing holding me back is the size of the keys. They look really really small, all of you arte owners, is it harder to text message than your previous handsets?

ive been using the sapphire arte version for a week now. Battery life is soooo much better than the original 8800!! With bluetooth turned on and few phone calls and SMS and playing around with it...it has managed to last just over 2 days!!! That is a record for me! lol.

Is this phone good enough to be use as a first phone , i had 2 8800's , 2 8800 sirocco's and the 8600 Luna , however i often find it annoying to use because of the small keypad and the bad battery life ( Luna is slightly better because of it's keypad ) I have a N95 and i think it's very good when it's funcioning properly , and why do Nokia produces the 8800 arte in Korea , as an upmarket handset , why is it not made in Germany ? However , I do think the Arte looks very nice .

go for luna coz of huge diff in price. luna now considered cheap ..3 mega pixel without flash and 1 gb memory is not worth to pay the diff over luna. buy luna b4 its gone. nokia will soon stop the luna production.

Yeah, it's nice looking. But no memory expansion just blows it for me.
