After battling Nokia for 2years I was looking for something that needs less than 10 keystrokes to get anything done - bad mistake. And SE allows Vodafone to lock the user assignable buttons to Vodafone Live! (on upgrades) grrrrr... There's an irritating latency when you press buttons - enough to get the chain of events derailed when doing things in a hurry. Plus the camera sucks. I was hoping this would qualify as a business phone - my mistake. I do think though (haven't tested), that the 3G/HSDPA interface really flies. T29i (yes previous millennium) still my favourite...
the screen is kinda small. can a 8gb memory card be inseted into this phone. n no wifi? c'mon SE.
can its LED light be used as torchlight? If can, how? I dun seemed to be able to locate light setting.
Nice camera phone, but I couldn't force the flash. You have only two options: Automatic or Off.
Too bad when you have strong back light.
Would be really grateful if someone can tell me if the media player on the C902 supports .avi video formats? I can't seem to get that info anywhere.
c'mon.. what can you possibly expect from that sensor size, no wonder the k800 is still able to compete in picture quality..
they should implement 3mp sensors to be quicker and more light sensitive.. a better lens (no zoom, just prime) would also create much quality improvement..
but hey.. the average consumer looks at the amount of mp, and assume that higher is better..
wow mixed views on the phone - i've got a nokia N73 atm one of the worst phones i've had. turns itself off the memory is bad and is awful for batter life, applications dont work sometimes and its too complicated. im waiting for my SE to be delivered today (hurry up) i used to have a SE w800i (and i still have it in my draw as a back up phone) the screen is smaller and the specs around the same - cant wait for the c902
I have had this phone for 3weeks now and the problem i have is that the phone will turn itself off and reset for no reason. this has now happened 5 times.i will be asking for a replacement from vodafone today.
Anonymous, 26 Mar 2008i think it would be so cool if sony ericsson had a phone with optical zoom with a screen set o... moreWith regards to the comment made about a SE phone with a querty keyboard the X1 will have...look here...http://www.sonyericsson.com/cw...d_type=phone
hi! just want to ask if this c902 already available here in philippines?!
the price of this unit is how much?!
bcoz im so very interesting to buy this phone.
When connected to a television set are you able to play games using the big screen and use the handset as a controller?
Would be cool with the excelleromter feature as well!
I've just had this phone for a day and I can tell you that it is of a very high quality and good all rounder. There maybe phones on the market that have more features or a bigger screen but that is usually compromised by the short battery life. SE have hit a good balance with this phone its got a good camera (5 MP) and I am happy with the screen size. The sound quality is brilliant and clear, for music, video's and most importantly phonecalls. It comes with some good games and fun things to do (music DJ, video and photo DJ). But most importantly for me upto 9hrs talk time.
just got my phone 3 days ago and i love it!!! i had the sony ericssson k850i and i thought this was going to be as bad as that model, but i was suprised to find that this proved me wrong!!! love the camera quality, really slimline and compact! tried out the samsung tocco and the camera quality isn't that good at all.... only downside to the c902 is the keypad is small but its easy to use....
The camera doesn't look so hot to me, grainy, purple fringing, off colour...
