I just received my E71... in White Steel! I just regret not going through the comments and pictures here before choosing the color! The White steel as advertized by Nokia is not what you find when you open the box, the pictures here are more accurate and as I said, if i'd checked the reviews before, I would have gone for the Grey one. I really wanted this phone, im using a N95 and I need a second line for work, but this detail killed a little my enthousiasm today...

I'm using N-80 and want to change it but am unable to decide between E-71 and N-95. I've liked everything about E-71... sleek look, editing facility of office documents, battery back-up but am curious to know if the camera is really not good at all. I may opt for N-95 for its camera but its style would be similar to my present N-80. Is it possible to install quick office onto N-95? Suggest me which one to buy.

Just wonder whether they are fully syn the data from MS outlook as usual of Nokia phone. Some note / details of the Task from the MS Outlook cannot be shown on phone. Only the subject and title of the tasks will be shown. Is it true for E66 and E71 ???

Got mine 2 days ago, simply the best piece of technology, really fast and responsing to every key punch, excellent Wifi and browsing speed. Camera is ok, not as good as in N82.
I am happy I made a right choice.

First of all: Nok E71 is far better than iphone for everyday use, the media i'm sure is better on the iphone being also an ipod BUT the build in RADIO in the E71 and some OK media capabilities (better cam, mms, copy/paste, video, removable microSD up to 8gb) puts the E71 better at media experience. The rest is not even close, the E71 destroys the iphone in every category except screen size.
NOW, for you techies out there: Can anyone tell me if TomTom runs on E71? I tried and failed for some mysterious reason but it could be my stupid Vista prohibiting me, i donno! Since the E71 has build in GPS, can I have access to it so i dont need an external gps receiver anymore?? (i know nokia hasnt released the code for gps since they're trying to sell ppl their own mapping software, their pricing just isnt for me though. i prefer to download the GPS software at one time and have it always available, dont like monthy bill for that!!!)

Sir...
Nokia builds better phones with good call quality.
But apple had now shown the way for the customers , that it is not necessary to bring out umpteenth models with the same features.....
Apple in fact had set the standard for smart phones , that is admirable from a first time phone manufacturer...
