Got mine 2 days ago, simply the best piece of technology, really fast and responsing to every key punch, excellent Wifi and browsing speed. Camera is ok, not as good as in N82.

I am happy I made a right choice.

First of all: Nok E71 is far better than iphone for everyday use, the media i'm sure is better on the iphone being also an ipod BUT the build in RADIO in the E71 and some OK media capabilities (better cam, mms, copy/paste, video, removable microSD up to 8gb) puts the E71 better at media experience. The rest is not even close, the E71 destroys the iphone in every category except screen size.

NOW, for you techies out there: Can anyone tell me if TomTom runs on E71? I tried and failed for some mysterious reason but it could be my stupid Vista prohibiting me, i donno! Since the E71 has build in GPS, can I have access to it so i dont need an external gps receiver anymore?? (i know nokia hasnt released the code for gps since they're trying to sell ppl their own mapping software, their pricing just isnt for me though. i prefer to download the GPS software at one time and have it always available, dont like monthy bill for that!!!)

Sir...
Nokia builds better phones with good call quality.
But apple had now shown the way for the customers , that it is not necessary to bring out umpteenth models with the same features.....
Apple in fact had set the standard for smart phones , that is admirable from a first time phone manufacturer...

Minimum agreement 2 years, 31,69 euros per month + 159 euros or 245 euros for the 16gb version.

Sticking with my E71

My guess about the Symbian drawback in version, is due to the fact that the new version is still not 100% reliable in terms of stability and 3rd party apps. support.

An E-series is all about solid performance and stability, and thats why I guess they have chosen an older version.

The pair E66 and E71 are indeed, the sweetest phones I have seen for awhile now.

I'm looking for an exquisite phone which could be used as a business gadget as well as personal phone. For the time being, I'm considering Nokia E71 and SonyEricsson C905. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Thanks

Got mine a couple of days ago.
Now I have both the E70 and E71.
Two different form factors but both are great phones.

The E71 is one of best i have ever used so far but the camera is the worst i have ever used. The camera quality is nothing compared to the E90, rather no were close to it. Think before buying.

just got E71 few days ago... cool phone and its a perfect phone for business and personal... speed is fast and so far so good, no problem. definitely a better version as compared to E61i, in terms of size, compact, and system. camera is good and volume is solid, loud enough that u will not miss a single call or sms. So... GO FOR IT! cheers for Nokia!
