i bought this phone for my birthday. i didn't regret buying it!! it's a great phone.
battery life's great.. i always use the wifi (which is suppose to decrease battery life) but the phone lost only one bar at the end of the day.
the programs are sufficient and are great for business-oriented people. camera kinda sucks--but--that's not what we're after, right? that's what digital cameras are for... hehehe
it's an e90 less the laptop-like appearance, weight and price!!
it's a great phone for me...

this is really the best phone out and is perfect in every little way.
the camera could do with better firmware to cancel out the purpley lines and it could do with a 3.5mm earphone jack but oh well, we cannot have everything.
the best phone ever and anyone who does not like is silly and needs to get sorted out and go see a doctor asap.
any one who is after buying this phone or getting on contract please do.
as said the best phone ever and superb battery life, it last over 5 days when using texts and few calls a day.

Can someone confirm whether I can change the ID3 tags (Artist, Title etc) in the media player of the E71
Currently I'm using the E51 and that doesn't allow changing those tags

I've had this phone for 2weeks and the battery life is not impressive. It doesn't last even 2 days...and that's with light usage. (39 minutes talk time, no gps, no games, no radio, 3g off 99% of the time) Are there any recommended settings to extend battery life?

i buy this phone.
for the first time nokia made a good looking phone !
the e71 looks solid and heavy
the body is in metal very nice
the screen is very good
the keyboard is a bit problem because small and in greece there are 2 prints for greek and latin letters but nokia printed the latin in dark blue very difficult to see
there are many applications and very easy to download from nokia or elsewhere
gps seems dead or very slow
the camera is very very bad
but this is a very nice phone and not too expensive for the quality
really it is a surprise because i own also a n96 impossible to use because too slow and full of bugs but the e71 is very good compared to the cheap built plastic of n96

my friend and I has this phone, and we are little bit disappointed with the quality of the camera, hope nokia will do something about it. The battery doesn't really last long, for like less than 12hrs. Small keypad for big people. I'll give 4 out 10 rating.

> In reply to JVV @ 2008-10-26 18:49 from mnLK - click to readThese phones appear to be problematic, other people on other blogs are having the same problem. Let your friends know that this is not a good investment.
After many conversations with Nokia I now have to return my phone to them for them to "fix it". Posting being at my expense even though there has been a major problem with in the warrantee period. Nokia Customer care sucks... I will sell this phone as soon as I get it back and get me something that is more reliable.

Hi guys,
I bought this phone just 2 days back and I just love it. The only thing is that the back of the phone (camera lens area) always remains hot and the battery is getting fully drained in a single day usage and I spend more time looking at it rather then using it. I am really disappointed. Can someone help me to solve this problem. I bought it very expensive and its not possible for me to get back to Nokia people for a replacement. PLS HELPPPPPPPPP :( :(
