Anybody is facing heat up issues with the mobile as am facing. It gets heat up in just 10 minute call. Otherwise this is an excellent phone in terms of feature/performance/speed.

Okay, i huv read alot about the E71 and although i havent physically seen it, am impressed. My major dissapointment is on the menu icons from the photos i have seen. The icons look like sketches rather than the solid 3D feels icons on the E61i. What was Nokia up to!

HI! This E71 Phone is good, but keypad is small for a adult man & screen too small for the price. (Screen is just wide only & length is insufficient). Steel model attracts scratches & finger prints & black is not so attractive. White keypad is horrible as white light is not visible except in dark. Keypad for both,Steel & Black sets should have been made black for bright white light & should have been few millimeters big for comfortable spelling-free typing. Otherwise, the Phone is ok. Yet to verify if it has dual camera. Sadly no camera cover too.

As a power user, i.e., US$1,500 or more per month, with Vodafone, I was given a test model of the 71 and Bold to use in the beginning of August. Simply put, both have their advantages. The 71 is small and convenient. The Bold is email. And for me, that was the deciding factor. I needed an email device dependable all over the world, had the email connectivity AND the keyboard. The Bold has by far, the better keyboard. And to me, if you are want to buy a phone with a keyboard, then buy a phone that has the best keyboard.

Liked it...more than the E90...got the equaly strength w/ the E90 but more slim and easy to slide it in your back pocket... but yea... it's lack of BB connect but its okay...as long it's got WiFi...it's powerful enough...

I barely touch my computer since the E71 came here, so that says enough. But I have a concern about switching access points. I installed Fring, works amazingly flawless, even calls are hardly to distinguish from normal phone calls (it uses a Skype account). Question: this Fring has a connection manager: if you loose contact with one access point, it searches for a pre-installed other and it connects without hustle. Great when you go from work to home. Why can't the standard email client do the same? Or Nokia Email (beta)? Or did I miss something?
