Hellow from Ucraine!!!

I have a question, the person who wrote this very goood article said this: “When editing a contact you have a plethora of available info fields - and if by any rare chance, those are not enough, you can always rename some of the existing ones to use as you like.” And that is exactly what I am looking for, if I can add and not only rename fields on contacts in phonebook is better…..I will appreciate any help. Thanks!

Hello, everyone
Can someone tell me if the media player has touch navigation for track/movie fast forward? that is, can you touch the playing time progress bar at the place you want rather than have to hold fast forward?
cheers,
Kip
oh yeah, by the way, those in Australia can buy the phone outright for $AU729. Optus is also has the phone for $0 on a $49cap for 24months as an online exclusive offer. I'm thinking of getting that, still got time to make up my mind before that offer ends on 1 Dec 2008.

i acquired Samsung Onmia 2 weeks ago. to my surprised i am delighted.
As I was always adverse to touch screens i am very pleased with Onmia handset, the screen responsiveness is quite good( not as good as IPhone), i love the different set ups for the today menu.
In general the phone is very simple to use, as I ve never had a pocket pc I thought it would be very hard to adapt to it but i was wrong.

The camera is quite good can't say the same about the flash, video recording is very good and so is the sound.

A bit disappointed with the Music player, the samsung one, doesn't recognise all formats so even though i copied about 2 gbs worth of music just around 1 appered on the player, the Windows media player did recognise all the music, but i don't know it it has to do with the phone capability but when listening to music it is not as loud as if i take the head phones off, so rush hour, is a bit hard to hear music on the Onmia.

Overall i do love my handset, and would exchenge it for the iphone not in a million years, as i got it from orange i have the 16 gb version and it is wonderful it fits load, and didn't have to buy a memory card.

I just aquired the Omnia, but i use it for business of course and i find it very good infact, sounds to me you guys want more of a multimedia phone, but the Omnia is the best phone on the markert and its certainly worth the price, my only fear tho is the covers fading like the Samsung D900i.

I have had the Omnia for a couple of weeks and find that the phone side works well the camera is great except geotagging doesn't work. battery life is terrible, text display of who is calling and sms is very small particularly if looking to see it when driving etc. GPS works well most of the time very slow to start up to 5 mins to aquire satelites and the map display does not always refresh properly. Samsung support is terrible telephone support hadn't seen phone and didnt know what geotagging was then even sent me to an office that closed down months ago.
