Nokia 6210 Navigator review: On the road again

Nokia 6210 Navigator review: On the road again - read the full textIn-phone GPS is no longer the next big thing in the industry. All right, it may not be run-of-the-mill just yet but it's where it's heading. The point now is how many extras will top the GPS and give users a bigger and better treat...

But i agree with the rest, i've had mine for 8 months and it has never worked properly. First the battery, then it just started blocking all the time. I took it to nokia 4 times, for them to try to repair it... i'm still waiting...

I had the 6110 before (gps software 10/10) and am extremely disappointed with the 6210 gps software(1/10)

i have the phone over 6 months now. great phone! you will have to get used to the keys 1,2 and 3 the are really hard to press sometimes ;) only problem i have with the phone is the so called FREE nokia maps. very nice navigation program but you need a license to use the actual navigation :S tried to use route 66;) will keep you all informed.

I've had the navigator for soome months now and I'm very satisfied. good call quality, camera ok, navigation is perfect. It's the best phone I've ever owned. I have a 8gb card and uses it for calling/texting, navigation, music, movies and textbooks. Together with my bluetooth headset I have a perfect companion.

I have one question though. Do anyone know what the new firmware is supposed to fix? I would not go through all the hoplawith a firmware upgrade if it wasn't anything major.

What about an audio quality of this model? Is it similar to other Nokia models of thios price tag? Particularly, how is it compared to N81? Theres nothing about it in the test, which is a shame ;]

Very nice review, thx!
I owned the 6110 navigator for 3 weeks and then accidentally drowned it :p
What I really liked was in fact that the screen is indeed very legible in direct sunlight.
I think I will buy the 6210 now. The compass and accelerometer seem like a cool improvement.
Also, since the phone runs on Symbian S60v3, there's PLENTY of software to be found on the internet...
What other GPS cell phones should I consider?

Any comments on the FlashLite 3.0 (which claims support for youtube) that is available in this model?

I personally have used one, and im not all that impressed, the keys are awful espically the one 2 and 3, there hard to press, it took me 10 minutes to get the memory card out, and it was turning off constantly while I was using this, even the 6220c keymat is like heaven compared to this, I also dont like the slide

When Nokia first unveiled the phone, I thought it looked really cheap and kind of ugly. But it has gradually grown on me and I am quite impressed with its features. Well done Nokia

...and very impressive Mr. Burgin...

The 6210 looks a very good handset from Nokia an the camera is not a let down, one thing with Gprs on the mobile it might have been a good idea to put the function on mobiles put do you have to pay extra for it as thats the only stubbling block putting this function on any handset as with the contract an paying for the Gprs as well its my not turn out to be a good thing to have on any mobile
