LG KT610 review: Communicator wannabe
KT610 is LG's way of saying the communicator class isn't reserved for insanely expensive high end devices. Packing a large full-QWERTY keyboard and neat and simple looks, the S60 Symbian handset spells business. It might have...

I'm going to sell this,,
it came with 1 GB miniSD bundLe,
but after 2 months, when I texted using the front keypad, it just DISAPPEARED! the message just missing, it's not in the sent, outbox or even draft foLders,,
and the same stupid thing from Symbian is occured too, it doesn't shown the pre-stored names, only numbers appeared,,
some time in the inbox shown the name, but some other time only numbers,,
never use symbian, if only the smallest thing they failed,,

My Nokia E61 was stolen a month ago.Best cell I ever had. Disaster! I was hoping to replace it at the end of the year with the new E71. But the keys are even smaller :-s
Found the LG KT610 for €199, about 300USD. The looks: you love it or you hate it. Outside looks more like a early 90s model with the big keys. Two advantages: VERY easy to operate, and noone will steal it, because it looks medieval.
Inside: Great! Again, easy to operate with my rather big fingers. And all the stuff pre-installed!!! Better than Nokia, I can assure: just put in my simcard, and all ready to go. Pushed the internet-button, and started googling immediately.
Biggest concern was that I always used Nokia before, but it's exactly the same operating system, so no bothers. Finding and installing extra software also is a piece of cake. GPS also works better than fine. Still looking for maps tho.
But I'm sold to my LG now! Great!

Very nice work LG. nice try but the spec. isnt for me. but for people cant buy the E90 in developing countries then this is the best solution. i just wanna see more Symbian phones from many manufacturer to make it dominant.
LG and Samsung are doing well..wait for Motorolla and and others (even Apple) to make there Symbian start.
will one of them make me replace my Nokias phones???...no one did that from 8 years and am gonna buy the E90 for next 18 month at least.

I've buyed it about 1 month ago. The problem is... the GPS connectivity! My device is H3G bundled, it's all ok but GPS works bad. Lot of persons, in a specialized italian forum, thinks that a new firmware is necessary... For the rest, good.
Ciao!

That might be the ugliest looking phone I've ever seen. It looks like the kind of phone that was being made 3 years ago! Cheap = not cheerful in this case.
