Sony Ericsson C905 review: Cyber shot, cyber hot - read the full textHigh megapixel count is the rage these days and Sony Ericsson C905 is adding fuel to the fire. The first 8 megapixel GSM cameraphone to make headlines is shipping as we speak. On top of geotagging...

This review as many others hold wrong information. This phone DOESN'T have the motion sensor. It has an accelerometer. These two, though similar to an average person, are actually totaly different.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2008-11-09 09:44 from ib7pthat's so right my friend.. not to mention image sharpness etc

good lens, bad image processing = so so image quality
good lens, good image processing = good image quality
bad lens, good image processing = there's possibility to get good image quality.. somewhere between so so and good.. but might be bad also..
bad lens, bad image processing = don't buy this, if you want good image quality.. :p

I guess for cellphone class photo, C905 produce good image quality..

personal opinion :)

cheers.. :)

as far as I'm concerned.. it's true.. image/video resolution has nothing to do with lens quality..

good lens quality would give good quality video if the video processing, including the sensor is good also.. not to mention, the man behind the cellphone :p

For DSLR camera class, believe me, lens quality gives huge difference in image quality..

in cellphone, i wouldn't expect so much on image quality.. since I'm using it just to take "the priceless moment" when we didn't bring our digicam or videocam. As long as I can still enjoy the image, nu prublem at all.. If the quality was good, then it's a bonus.. :)

just my perspective.. others' might differs.. :)

back to GPS.. can anyone confirm my previous question? otherwise, I guess I'll go for not so sophisticated SE cellphone, and buy handheld GPS

cheers..

"To use all features of the Location services internet access is a must."

can the GPS be used without internet connection? I mean, like ordinary handheld GPS, using the signal from satellite..

and be used for let say tracking our jogging track?
