When you already like the easier SE user interface with very logical hierarchy you know you can not change to other brand. Any little difference in camera quality is not a big problem. You don't alway use the camera everytime but you always use the phone for calling and SMS.

Apparently they still can't compete with the good ol' i-mobile 902. They are never going to end the MP race, are they?

Samsung's 8mp 1/2.5 inch CMOS sensor with lens that support F2.85 and supports 3x optical zoom will be released in early 2009. Autofocus performance has been improved by 57% according to Telecom Korea.
They are working on a much smaller 12mp CMOS as well. 2009 is going to be exciting. cheers!!

Sony has just fired off their latest salvo in "Battle Megapixel" with the unveiling of their Exmor CMOS image sensor line up.
- IMX046PQ, 1/3.2 CMOS with 8.11 MP
- IMX045PQ, 1/4 CMOS with 12.25 MP
- IV046F, 1/3.2 lens module with 8.11 MP
The new 12.25 MP sensor will be available starting March 2009 for priced 2,500 Japanese Yen(USD$26)
Look for handsets with 12 megapixel cameras hitting the market sometime in the middle of next year - especially those from Sony Ericsson and Samsung.
