Nokia N85 review: Nseries revved up
N85 is the latest Nseries signing and a bulletproof spec sheet sets it right in the thick of all-in-one action. Full-house connectivity and multimedia prowess topped with a massive OLED screen to die for, Nokia N85 gives the lineup a great edge...

After reading the review I guess the camera performance would improve by changing the imaging algorithm and GPS would also get some fixes so overall I believe its a gr8 all in one package... the way my 5700 is performing after firmware upgrades I am damm sure this thing would rock.......sun legibility though wud b same.......

The N85 might look very good an the slider an the screen alot better than the N95 models, but its the functions you get on the N85 that lets it down ,the camera not top scotch an the speakers not clear,so those with the N95 8gb mobile its a hard choice to make is it worth upgrading to the N85,i decide it was not as the N95 8gb mobile is alot better in certain features,so you might as well wait until Nokia releases a mobile worth upgrading to,thats why i returned the N85 as you do not buy a mobile on its looks, but the produces think people do now days which is totally wrong

oh yeah by the way I have a question do you guys think it's really worth buying the n85 if you recently(1 month ago) just bought the n82. Software wise there isn't really THAT much that changed.

COOL! COOL! it's really a cool phone! I have a nokia n82(black). And I was actually planning to buy the n85 but seeing there isn't much that changed compared to my n82 and apparently the picture quality is not the same nor is it better. So I think I'll just wait until nokia releases an 8 megapixel phone

GSM Arena said: "There is also a nice new feature in recent Nokia phones that automatically enables power-saving mode once the battery starts running low. This should usually give you a bit of extra time to get a charger before your battery is completely drained"
if i am not mistaken, those old phones from now-defunct Siemens Mobile already had the feature for years.
it's a shame that the rest of the phone manufacturers did not put the feature into their products (until now, thanks to nokia).
it's a great feature, really.....

N-series always have the newest technology, while the E-series have better build quality.
anyway, i think i should wait for the next N-series.
this one is too similar to my N95.

Nokia was my choice of phone... that was until their design and build quality went through the floor. The design is awful... It looks so tacky! They're seriously cutting costs in their phones by using sub par materials.
The Xperia is the one for me...if I don't get that its gonna be the i7110... Nokia have lost the plot (although the E71 is a damn fine phone)
