Sony Ericsson G705 review: Slide-o-matic - read the full textOne of a kind is the last thing to call Sony Ericsson G705 upon as much as a glimpse. But conceited scoffs may be bitterly regretted. Wi-Fi, GPS and lightning fast data are likely to turn the snooty sneer into...

I have tried this phone (work for an operator) and it's definitely the best feature phone on the market. IMHO feature phones gives better user experience since everything is tied together nicely.

I wonder why Sony Ericsson just doesn't get the competition.
Same phone after the same.

Nice features for a decent price I guess. But too bad the "bubble pattern" spoils the clean look of the device

What's the difference between G705 and W705 (other than cosmetics) ? Are there any tech differences? Will there be W705a for US? What's up with US always lagging behind?

This is just another se phone there is nothing special about it. GPS performance is below average which gsmarena hasn't highlighted here because they are favoring se for sometime. I don't think that it stands upto nokia and samsung feature phones so how can they dare to compare it with N95, E66. Does it even has email client setup. ???????

u no what im sick of everybody saying sony ericsson W705 will have the same features as G705 who cares a phone is a phone nobody say anything when nokia do it and nokia are the king of doing exactly the same phone in a different body what do you say about that. guys in Gsm arena who review phones dnt contradict yourselves cos its obvious u guys are nokia lovers but refuse to say nokia has a rubbish or have a rubbish design

> In reply to AGC @ 2008-12-04 20:58 from jUNsI think the comment by SE is correct ... I have the w810i and some how I don't feel I want to upgrade to this :( even if you say it's full of different new specs ..so what? I'd rather go to somebody like HTC and have a fresh new look to my phone.

> In reply to Se @ 2008-12-04 20:45 from pu4bDid you even read the review? It's nothing like other SE's, the literally said 'It's only the second to offer this feature set', and it's a midrange device with a low price point! WTF are you talking about?
