I had lots of phones in the past, Nokia's, SE, Samsung's But this one is the best of all. The best operating system from Nokia, and the best Hardware from Samsung, they should have borrowed a battey from Sony...
No dust problem so far and i am the proud owner of this 8 Mega pixel master piece for about 10 weeks now... (and my phone is always in my pocket!!)
If the battery is running flat fast within a day, then you should let it run down completely before charging it again... that way the battery seems to last longer...
every funcion on the phone works just great... Even the GPS works faster than my Garmin...
This phone is the Rolls Royce of all the phones out there on the market

The review state that it has "Stereo FM Radio with RDS", but also says that it doesn't have an "FM transmitter". Can someone explain to me whats does it mean? Aren't those the same?

hmm, don't forget that i use the sony ericsson stereo headset headphones on mine...and i use the o2 mini leather case...heheh...don't really care i use many brands altogether...i just think that there's no need to be a single brand minded..why?? because we pay for their products..not given for free...and why don't we take as much as benefits from their advantages (vendors)...and once again,please..don't argue each others about a brand u like...coz everybody has their own oppinions...right?? (^^)

since when?? i bought mine at the end of november, and still using it till now (January 7th 09), and the dust under screen problem not appear with mine...well think of that problem, i believe every product has the unlucky ones on their first packages....nokia, soner, lg...heard that everytime...like the failed N73/N95 8gb with restart and blank lcd problems...soner W910 with almost the same probs, and others...so, from the first time i unplugged my innov8 from the charger, i managed to operate almost the features inside...well, several ones like transfering the images from the pc in one folder to the phone kinda confusing because u will find the images like leaked from the folder, and had to decide where should i place the new folder inside the device, mass storage, phone, or mem card...haha.. maybe if u used to with nokia, u will laugh about this...well, i know about the symbian behaviour several days later, with my brother's nokia...not happen with my W980 ^^ (because it don't have an operating system)....but the point is...this phone isn't that hard to learn..the camera, music, massaging, applications, even if u want to add themes and delete it later...cos i found this kind of question at some places in internet...just use the tools > app manager, and uninstall everything u want from the phone...just like that...and as an end user, i'm not trying to blow this things up...i say what i know and see, it's just like a nice colaboration between a nokia software with a samsung's hardware...a samsung with nokia taste! and i believe, this kinds of policies brings good goods to the users who wants something from here and something from that...(never satisfied..and complains with everything...hehe...sure ^^) and thank's guys ^^..prepare for the next big things from the vendors!!

Good to know that all your wait and money has paid off and you are happy with your new i8510. Can you please mention how many days since you have been using it? Because i have read hundreds of comments of the dust gathering inside its screen after a couple of weeks usage.

I bought the innov8 3 days before it was launched in Indonesia, and i also worry about the phone performance compared to it's price at several hours before i pay for the the phone too (because the information i got from internet not saying much about the music ability, and i like to hear music very much)..but after first charging, 3 months exploring news about this phone at internet was finally paid...the battery is very okay, the screen is very good, the sound is pretty good, with loud speaker and headset, but if i can suggest, try using the samsung headset to the phone (the one with microphone), and connect it to soner stereo headset (the one with earbuds..i use soner HPM 70 or 77 stereo headset), hear it and try to say if it's not okay X)..i have 2 gsm, innov8 and soner W980i...seriously, the innov8 beat W980i in music, but still..the sony ericsson W series music file sorting system are better than the innov8 (i also remember, my innov8 borrow the W980i earphones ^^), and although u will not find a complete manual book inside the package, i am sure, if you are not retarded, you will not find any meaning trouble to operate the phone...and the last, the photo..the result is just like the gsm arena told you, it's really nice taking pic's and videos with this phone...try it! and i can tell you, the picture is very very okay even without the xenon flash...the benefit, it will not drain the battery fast, and the background picture will not become dark like when u using xenon when u take a shot at medium distance objects...and for the one that cannot change the message tone (?????) how can that be? just go to settings > profiles > personalise > change message tone...just like that, u can even use one of your music files...i think that's all i can say, and please try not to say bad things that not true about a brand if you or we don't like or don't use that brand...'cos for me, they all have good things and bad things, according who judge it (peace!!)
