to enable video streaming through WiFi simply change the default streaming settings with:
Settings->Connettivity->Streaming setting->Internet profile: Wi-Fi.
No need to change the UDP port number

The biggest and ugliest letdown for this great phone is its loudspeaker. Just look up the web about its loudspeaker and you will get the answer.
most people either cant hear any ringtone or they blew their loud speaker by trying to play enhanced ringtones.
Many of you might think loudspeaker is not so important but think again.

Additionally its very sad that gsmarena did not even comment on the loudspeaker, and so let us down.

Does the renoir have some maps which don´t use wifi, data transfers from the net, etc...? I saw that lg arena´s gps uses connection with the operator (which means that you have to pay when you want to use the gps). Is there the same problem in renoir? Can I use some maps and maybe some gps without paying anything and even without having any connection to my operator or wifi network?
please answer me at thehot@mail.bg

Hi I'm from germany and have the Renoir as well.
I'm pretty sure that I saw an option to change the E-Mail space from 300Kb up to 5Mb.

Also my Renoir streams Youtube over Wi-Fi(WLAN) at a 100%. My problem is that Opera Mobile doesn't use the Wi-Fi connection even if it's activated.

Great phone for photo and music. LG is improving its products and it might take another year for them to make mature products like Nokia and Samsung do. This phone is a big achievement for LG as its first phone that can at-least be considered for competition against Iphone, touch Diamond and Omnia. At least for few months it will beat everyone in Smart Phone + good camera market. I am sure Samsung and Nokia will be putting 8mp camera and Dolby in there future phones :)

Correction "No Java connection over Wi-Fi (so Google Maps needs a data plan)"

You can use Google Maps over Wifi.
