Great phone for photo and music. LG is improving its products and it might take another year for them to make mature products like Nokia and Samsung do. This phone is a big achievement for LG as its first phone that can at-least be considered for competition against Iphone, touch Diamond and Omnia. At least for few months it will beat everyone in Smart Phone + good camera market. I am sure Samsung and Nokia will be putting 8mp camera and Dolby in there future phones :)

Correction "No Java connection over Wi-Fi (so Google Maps needs a data plan)"

You can use Google Maps over Wifi.

Anonymous, What do you mean for wide screen video recording, you need the right type of memory card. Else it will have the "pause and continue" effect? What type of memory card do i need?

Can anyone who has this phone tell me what the camera is actually like? Im really tempted by it for my upgrade. Currently have the viewty and love the way it works but while video is fantastic, the camera quality is very dissapointing. Is it better than the Viewty??

Also whats the battery like?? Battery on Viewty was also very poor.

> In reply to [deleted post]Most are no longer interested in reading this review since they already used/owned/tested/returned the unit
Its four months after the announcement and one full months after the released date.
Although Its better late than nothing. But sometimes its better nothing if it is too late.

Hi there
recently I purchased an LG Renoir. The things that i wanna ask are I often get a 'memory full' message. Second is how come the ringtone is so soft although the volume is already maximum? Last one is can you recommend some applications to make use of the GPS?

Thank you

Dear GSMA Staff,

Great effort by you all.

LG, there is only absence one thing SPOILING the entire effort --> SYMBIAN!!

Believe it or not, Symbian broke the Deal for me & I still can't find a decent N91 substitute ...

Sob! It is such a nice set otherwise ...

Obviously waiting for 5800 Review...
