Nokia 5800 XpressMusic review: Young as you feel

Nokia 5800 XpressMusic review: Young as you feel - read the full textIt's touchscreen o'clock for Nokia and the stage is set for the 5800 XpressMusic. Go ahead and touch it. We did and we've got a story to tell. Now, it's technically not the first time Nokia get their hands dirty with touch screens, but it sure feels they really mean business this time. For Nokia 5800 is not the only story here...

Guys , this is one of the best phone till date. The home screen has lots of shortcuts. As stated in the review that there is no options like previous S60 version like WLAN scanning etc. guys these are still available, just touch near the battery icon, you have all the shortcuts there.
Switch on theme effects which are turned off by default and you will see amazing transition effects.
We have lots of applications and games coming up for S60v5 .. So guys I will recommend this as a best buy till date. And also the best value for money in the market.

I just read this review again and it's such a kick in the nuts. Really wanted to get this phone but sounds like nokia have been super lazy on the UI. Review follows with what my friend said too. Any suggestions for a upgrade from the n82? And don't say the iphone.

i am planning to buy this phone.. i think this is a good move from nokia's side. i read the review by gsm arena it was a good one but the comparison u people made with nokia 5800 and iphone is not fare..
because only touchscreen facility is best in iphone and the price between these 2 fones r really different.... i feel nokia 5800mx more worthy than the iphone

Nothing wrong with a year-old phone. Especially when it is cheaper, and better featured than this 5800.

For 380$ you can buy alot of great 1-year-old phones, that has much much better features.

I just dont see the hype of spending $380 on a first-attempt phone, that even gsmarena admits is flawed. If you want to try it out, at least let the prices drop a bit. Following hype and paying top dollars for technology isn't too wise.

I've had the Nokia 5800 since Christmas now and I love it. When comparing to the iPhone, i have an iPod touch and music & video wise it replaces it but apps and gameswise apple still wins. but otherwise it is an amazing phone!
