MWC 2009: Various brands overview - read the full textIt now comes the time to pay due respect to the smaller makers (in terms of market mostly) that did bring some interesting devices to the MWC 2009. They will get their due coverage of course and our appreciation for having the skill and the courage to stand up to the big guns...

The i-Mate Centurion is a joke! Who do they expect to use it, 4-year-olds?

I don't like touch screen. I love clamshells because you have a decent size screen and keypad, especially the Japanese phones.

I used to own an SHARP 905i with WVGA screen and touch cruiser, Dolby stereo built-in (like LG), etc.,

Besides the locked down features it was the nicest phone I ever had. I personally like them much better than touch screen.

It´s way too big... Like someone said somewhere else... They just might as well slap a sim card in a notebook!! You´ll probably need a backpack to carry that thing!

Why is EVERYTHING becoming touch-screen only???????????

What about people who just want a DECENT clam-shell or bar-type phone?

I know the iPhone is a success, but please, can we cater for the rest of the users?
