MWC 2009: The top 7 things we wish we took home - read the full textBig round of applause, fade-out to happy ending: the MWC 2009 is now history. We were there and lived to tell the story. And well, there was a lot to tell. Now, we're not cutting the long story short here. We just sat...

the demo showed how crappy icrap like response idou was, lol. He had to hit it HARD a few times to get a response. OK time to change idou to idie now. What a joke from Ericsson!

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2009-02-28 08:10 from kWZr - click to readI believe you wanted to say "a processor's SPEED doesn't determine if it can run a certain OS" because the architecture and instruction set of a processor determines if it can run OS X or Y. In this case, to run XP "AS IS", means it has to be x86 compatible. Otherwise a port to the Snapdragon instruction set is required...

Although running XP, Vista or anything similar (and way to HEAVY) would be counterproductive...

Just my two cents ;-)

My question for the Toshiba is, why have a 1GHz processor and not run something like Windows XP on it?

Will the light "netbook" version of Windows 7 (not WiMo 7) be able to run on it?

Hopefully later on, there will also be a Windows Mobile 7 ROM for this.

Nice sum up of the event. All we have to do now is wait for "brand X" fanboys to start bashing the review for not including this or that mobile phone... ;-) May the bashing begin!
