This phone is really a worth one. I`ve got a possibility to try it, it`s like bugatti (even though I never had it:))

It's an excellent phone, really. I had the Arena for about 20 minutes in my hands yesterday.. The dolby surround sound, the video quality, the multitouch. It's a winner really. The most amazing part is the speed of the phone. It's so damn fast.
I always hated LG but I mean it when I say that I'm considering on getting this one.

It's a killer. I used it next to the Iphone.. And Iphone should really come out soon with the 3.0 software because Iphone is nothing next to this thing.

Use it at least once prior to making stupid comparisons and calling it a rip of the iPhone. I for one think LG has a winner on their hands and will reserve final judgement until I have actually tried out the S-Class UI. Looking good so far LG.

i'm not a ifan nor am i LG basher but this phone resembles iphone!!!. and the price tag of 400£ is nearly the prise of 4GB iphone in my country. arena is definitely better value of money be is a copy or original.

the UI is like iphone...y cant they make original one as there fones specs are far better than the iphone...

Very nice review,this phone is exellent but it has a big problem: phone legibility under sunlight! I will not swap my 5800 with a phone that has the same problem!
What about battery??

Gsmarena you sate in your review that the micro sd card is not hot swappable, because it is under the battery.

Your photo clearly shows that the micro sd and sim are not under the battery please fix these statements.

All in all, nice phone.. But I would rather save more money and purchase HTC Touch Pro 2. It is unique, it has quite bigger screen, qwerty keyboard, and most importing, not stealing from other (I)phones. Even though this is quite nice phone, it is just LG, and i already have one called Viewty, pure junk! Camera is nothing, touch is nothing, end it is indeed unnerve!! greetings :)

I like the silver/whitish back of the phone.

1. It wont attract finger prints like the black one will ( look on youtube for the black one and you will se what I mean)

2. It will stand out from the crowd of black phones. There is a sea of black phones out there at the moment, and when you will have the phone to your ear if its black no one will notice at all. The silver one will attract more admiring looks of jealousy for sure.

Hi Gsmarena. You wrote in your review that the phone takes a micro sd card of up to 16 Gb. That is incorrect it can take up to 32 gb. Please fix this in your review thanks.

Yes indeed I agree ,this might not be the best phone around but in the netherlands a price of €400,- is incredibly decent and quite affordable with a contract that's what makes this phone very attractive to me I've been a long time sonyericsson user and would love to get my hands on an Xperia but if it's price doesn't decrease soon. Then this will be the better option only downside is no smartphone OS, so rubbish youtube quality and because of the new Hi-res screen also very few 3rd party apps in contrast to the other LG touch phones with WQVGA res. But all in all I think it's price is what's gonna make it a hit!
