Nokia E75 review: Business on the slide

Nokia E75 review: Business on the slide - read the full textIf we can think of one reason to take being told "to mind your own business" with a smile it would be the Nokia E-series. A household name for enterprise users, it's hardly a surprise that each E-series update is greeted with plenty of excitement...

Hi,

I think it's unfair to judge this phone before seeing it in person. I was thought that this phone would be thick. But, I was surprise by how thin the phone were. Overall, nice design. Nice business phone design.

And about the processor. 369MHz is surely not the latest procs. I really love to see the 900MHz Arm CPU with nokia. But unlike WinMoOS, nokia OS is very sleek. 369Mhz on nokia is way faster than 600MHz on WinMO.

Its easy to see even in the photos that its cheaply made. Why arent most Nokia phones well built these days? Maybe they want to perfect the art of disposable phones...I had high hopes but....

Oh well I wont be buying this phone.....next please!

Nice review, although its not much of an improvement on the e71. The price is still quite high considering its virtually the same as the 5730xm, yet the 5730 comes with a much better retail package.
I guess those who would really need serious business phones would look elsewhere (like e90, e71,) while those who wouldnt mind a side-slider would go for the 5730xm.
Im suprised that the numeric keypad is made of cheap plastic. The 5730xm looks far better (although also glossy) and even the cheap e63 (which is half the price of e75) looks far better and doesnt suffer from fingerprints.
Thanx GSMArena for the review.

I knew this phone is going to be a disaster. Its just a normal phone with a QWERTY keyboard thrown in. Nokia could have done way better with this. I knew this was not going to be something special so I just bought Nokia E71....way better than this Nokia E75...

the stragiht line (bar-like) in the middle of the qwerty looks misplaced to me. A better engineering is required. Qwerty plus numpad is a great idea, but the overall device's look is not that appealing.
