Hi,Phone based info...
qwerty side view msg typing used,u always have to turn t9 off,hate that..
camera not that great,dont know why but my ku(u)990 had better camera,better photo's,more options....
like panerama(cant spell great who cares...)
the phone just isnt right...
i love it dont get me wrong will buy LG for the rest of my life now,but the old 2007 KU990 was better,for the camera and a few other features..
the internet keeps coming up with connection failed,and its hard to surf different sites with links,takes 3 mins sometimes to start loading,makes you think it doesnt work..
com on LG get the next phone right ..
keep your customers happy...

well im sick of saying shit about my new phone...
now the good things,some updated firmware(not as much as ppl would like)
full touch screen works great,but when u answer ur phone the screen turns on and off sometimes,you cant always answer ur phone...
games.... www.mylgarena.com i think,download the game packs..
hundreds to choose from..most work with full touch screen.but that dam NAV pad is so hard to get rid off,check that site to find out how to do tha aswell.
well if you are thinking about buying one of these,you have to like LG phones,buy a cheaper one to see first...and the company that you are with,im in Australia and telstra has a version called the km900f,much better features then the virgin company i am with...
so search around and enjoy ur new beast with 40 GIG,ok camera,fast but slow internet...

Its an amazing phone but is there any s-class user interface software updates? Coz i can not copy images, sounds, videos from external memory to my lg km900 phone by using the phone itself only, and i want the second hand in the analog clock to be shown also.

in the meantime there was a small update, which did solve some of the issieds. and it seems LG is actually working on an apps store, so all might not be lost.
i also read on a german forum that a group of people is working on porting Android to the Arena. now THAT would be something.

I dumped this phone after a month. Way too many bugs and not a word from LG about updates. As someone else already mentioned, youtube movies wont work, but there's plenty more thats simply not acceptable.
Mail is displayed as plain text, you can view it in html, but it uses some crap conversion to make a picture of it and view it in a picture viewer.
gps doesnt even work out of the box, for a lot of people. you just wont get a signal. it now turns out this could be due to a bad contact between pcb and the backplate, which is used as an antenna. by scratching the surface of that contact some people have managed to get their gps to work (search for it on mylgarena.com)
the os used is propietary, so forget about installing stuff other than java apps. i read somewhere LG is planning (or already working on) an apps store, but so far no word from LG.
and forget abot the hype about the cube thats in the interface, its useless. you can just as easy flip through the 4 screens swiping over the screen, that is, if you want to use the other screens at all.
because the contact screen and the media screen is nothing more than a favorits list. something like that might work for contacts (like on TF3D) but not for music or photos. the cube itself doesnt even display the real content of the 4 screens, its some static example of how your screen could look like.
in my opinion, with all these problems, LG should issue a recall. fix the gps, install a less bug infected firmware and make their customers happy
my advice: if you just use the phone for calling and texting, its fine. but if you want to use email, install apps, use the gps, get something else (iphone, windows phone)

I got my LG Arena, still getting to grips with it; creating menu short cuts and fiddling with the ring tones and things but it’s the email that I find the most tricky to sort out. It can be a pain in the neck to set up, in my humble opinion, and always takes the longest of all the features in your phone to organise.

Hello to you all.
I have this phone over two weeks and i'm very happy with it.
Al the features are amazing.
The only feature that is missing is real GPS voice-to-voice navigation instead of A-GPS.
But... i have a question, if someone can help me... i appreciate: what is the OS of the LG KM900 Arena?
It's Symbian?
What type of aplications can i download for it, for exemple, Mini Opera Browser?
