LG GC900 Viewty Smart preview: First look

LG GC900 Viewty Smart preview: First look - read the full textLG GC900 Viewty Smart (sometimes also called Viewty 2) is making a run for it as the next LG flagship. What can we say, when you’re blue-blooded, some things come au naturel – the snappy and quite...

I don't know whether to buy the Viewty 2, Arena, the GD900 Crystal wait for the watch phone or wait for the 12 megapixel camera phone out later this year (what I'll more than likely do is buy them all anyway)

All it needs, is complete GPS system. Would be great to have Tom Tom or better Garmin on board! Google Maps solutions is just waste of money on built-in GPS receiver ...

Although Viewty Smart and Arena do have some similarities, I'm guessing the LG Arena is more entertainment and multimedia focused while the Viewty Smart is obviously more camera-centric due to its 8 megapixel camera and imaging pictures. It's all up to personal preferences ~ but I love the fact that no matter the selection, S-Class UI comes standard!

I would like to know the responsiveness and processing speed of LG viewty smart. Is it better than LG Arena. As I know sometimes LG Arena has a slow response especially running several applications at the same time.

However the Renoir appears, according to this website, to be able to play DivX videos very well. In addition, like the outstanding Secret, the Renoir video-records in AVI format, which might be helpful if you are intending to do a lot of video recording. So while the new Viewty 2 and the great Arena are the new offerings in town, the Renoir should not be viewed as old. It is a formidable Media powerhouse, which will probably cost less now making it a tempting buy. Making a choice will get even more difficult once the LG GD900 slider arrives! Good luck deciding.

Very enticing phone. Sleek design, heavy on features, excellent camera from what I can tell, and of course the S-Class interface. iPhone's got nothing on this kid, folks. This is surely my next purchase.

must admit finally got to use the s-class, its impressive but restrictive. The iPhone is still superior in software capabilities, but hats off to LG this has some stunning hardware features and is probably the best looking phone ever made, it is honestly stunning. However I'll still stick to my iPhone :) as the software benefits me but im itching that apple add the other cool things this phone has. This phone with the Mac OS... Perfect

Scrolling is silky enough for my taste, though iPhone's scroll is still the best I've seen/used. However, this phone has a titanic amount of better features like an 8 MP cam, 720x480@30fps slow-mo video capture, and a sharper higher pixel density screen (smaller size unfortunately). It wouldn't be surprising if the hardware intensity slows down the phone abit...Nevertheless it still boils down to personel preference on whether you want features>speed or speed/features.
