When my dad bought the N97, black version, it came preloaded with 15 episodes of Fear Factor and full versions of Sims 3 and SPORE

My humble request to GSMARENA.........evaluate the new phones for some days by actually using in real life and not only in LAB to get true expereince of the phone performance. Otherwise people will loose TRUST on your evaluation report.

This attempt by nokia in smartphone series is ALMOST disasterious....

I hv one......it really sucks......It hangs....dams slow....battery heats up....I regret paying 20k for this phone.

I have nokia n97 and I don't have any of the problems that you say on last pages. Phone rocks and I wouldn't change it!

I think nokia should make another communicator. The E90 was one of the most durable and one of the best smartphones available. Many people talk about phones for business....There is no other phone that can handle business as well as the E90.

This phone is rubbish. It has too much memory & too much on it to function correctly, its far too slow and the touch screen is so frustrating, even ringing people becomes a chore. As for the internet, it's appaulingly slow. i got it on contract over the iphone as the nokia was rated better in a few forums, big mistake, bite the bullit & splash out for the iphone. Roll on the next 18 month..:-(

Nowdays.. smartphones do basically the same as smartphones did 5 years ago.. except faster and with a more fancy design. The N97 doesn't change much of that to my very first 3650 (then N-Gage, 6600 & N95). Just my humble opinion. Even so, if you get a N97 for cheap (got mine for 230 euros), take it, it's a nice phone for a few months.
