Samsung S8000 Jet review: Airborne

Samsung S8000 Jet review: Airborne - read the full textIt's that time of the year and the living is easy: pool parties, blockbuster movies and new gadgets. The Samsung S8000 Jet sure knows good timing and gallantly promises a bit of everything...

This will automatically reject their call but you will still see that they have called, when, what time etc. It doesn't block texts though! I really want to know that too...

Apart from that I love the phone though.

hi all, good review here. i currently own the lg arena. whilst a good responsive phone and has a fewnice little features... having looked at this on youtube etc... i would say the samsung is a far better phone...the arena for me has been a major letdown mainly the internet browser is rubbish, you cant add more than about 3 useful widgets and certainly cannot download more like samsung. iam considering selling my arena and getting the samsung

How do you use the Route66 software free in UK with voice navigation? I'm fed of buying a phone with GPS but no software to use the damn thing! Fu**king joke.

my calendar alarm dont give me a notification when the phone is turned off, this is not the main problem.
the problem is when i turn on the phone and i still dont receive any notification, nor even in the mission events.
i think this is the only issue that i find...
maybe with firmware update fix this

Looks like a nice phone, I do have to take issue though with not just this phone but others too. My problem is that phones these days that say they support full flash dont actually really support it, the company, nokia etc only make the browser work for Youtube standard. This is a problem as Youtube standard is flash 8 and is old, most if not all other sites have upgraded to flash 9. If for example i wanted to visit, i cannot view the videos. Try it, 5800 doesn't work, N97 doesn't work

Hi all,
I've been thinking about buying a S8000,but i saw some comments here about serious problems even their being recalled!
but as matter of fact the details of it are really fantastic(CPU power,480*800 pixels,16M color),by these details i prefer this phone than iphone 3GS.
i just want to know ,are these problems real?(plz help me)

I believed Samsung S8000 jet is a very good phone and unfortunately I have purchased it a month ago. For few days it worked fine, but latter touch pad stopped working. Because of this I am unable to do the basic thing s like answering the incoming calls. Samsung servicing department found that it might be problem with the mother board, but they are not sure on how to fix it. They don’t even want to replace with the new one, it seems their policy was objecting it.
I declare that "Samsung S8000 Jet might be a very good phone, until you get problem with it. Once you got problems with just don’t worry it can be best utilized as a paper wait"
