Have use Samsung Omnia B 7610 for 2 months now.
Lousy battery life...Cannot last half a day too.
Worst is low critical memory all the time inspite of moving Opera Cache.
Big mistake this phone
Also no upgrade to Win 6.5 visible

Which one is better n97 mini or omnia pro b7610.
The major differences I could figure out are in the processor speed, Operating system, screen type, size & resolution, Battery power internal memory & RAM. In all the above mentioned difference Samsung is better except the Internal storage (mini has 8 GB and omnia has 2 GB). Feature wise Omnia has Business card reader, Document editor, DivX certified and mobile tracker where as mini has Digital compass, Document Viewer, Flash Lite 3. And I heard that transferred Java files do not open in Omnia Pro…Is this correct? If yes then what is the work around?
Also, Omnia is cheaper than mini around 1.5 to 2K.
My major requirements are A-GPS, E-book / PDF viewer / reader, E-mail and calendar synch, Wi-Fi, Camera (not much) and build quality (my mobile falls on an average once or twice in a week).
Can anybody help who has used both the phones?

Got it 2 weeks back.. good one..
got its own pros and cons..
cons i attribute to the windows OS history rather than the phone itself.. Got all the things good and working good ..
Some Pros..
Samsung keyboard is good to use with fingers.. no stylus required.
Since its Windows OS.. got tons of apps as needed or write your own.. (i am a .net programmer so this statement.. )
GPS is fine.. shows me where i am on map.
Sound is good.. loudspeaker is ok. no stereo i guess.
Camera quality is fine..
Syncs well with Windows 7 64x using ActiveSync (Vista version). (rem pc studio of samsung is not available for 64x Win 7 yet)
Some Cons..
You cant make a call real urgent real quick unless u have called that number before.. (a pain to select contact frm the phonebook real quick)
Inbuild touch player is not user-friendly with menus and playing options
SMS and MMS land on the same inbox (no seperate folders for them)
Battery takes longer time to recharge..
Overall a good PDA with telephone feature as addon ;-)
Will rite more when i find more.. or as asked/needed.. :-)

Yeah, the compass is present in the Pro as well...
First impressions are good, running on windows mobile 6.1 for now but you get a free update to 6.5 once it's out. The phone doesn't feel that big, the keyboard is ok although not as nice as the touch pro one.
Touchwiz looks good but decided to disable it for now anyway and go with mobile shell which works a bit faster.
The phone is available in the Netherlands although not with all providers. Received mine (simlock free) little over a week ago.

It's now the 22nd September 09. No sign of the Pro. O2 england not promoting/releasing this phone yet. Going to Hong Kong in October so will look there to buy the Pro. Does anybody know where to get the Pro in England ?
Thanks, GWR25.
