-The Nokia E52 also has support for VoIP calls-
combined with wi-fi...does it mean we can use it for skype call? and what about video call?

GSM ARENA E52 review stated:
So we guess, the Nokia E55 kinda boils down to a limited edition E52.
After all, most people will perhaps prefer the traditional phone keypad. The unusual half-QWERTY is not so much of an advantage after all when you factor in PREDICTIVE TYPING on E52 and the steep learning curve when tackling typing on the E55 new type of keyboard.
Is you own E52 and happen to live inIndonesia, please explain what PREDICTIVE TYPING on E52 means?? Is it on english like t9, or is it in native language bahasa indo? Thanks.

does E52 have predictive input text for native language (non english, in my case bahasa indonesia)?
the reason is not all understand english well, and t9 is only for english.
I'm bored waiting for Nokia to release E55!! Nokia could just give an official announcement if they cancel E55, so we can think of other phone. Speak Nokia!!!!!!!!

I'd get this phone in a heart beat if Nokia would put in a triband 3G.

Dudes, I'm tellin ya'. I've had my current Symbian (6630) for almost 5 years now and have been checking phones all the time and not getting anything not for lack of money but because I thought the feature/cost benefit wasn't worth it. The E52 was the first model to get my attention as upgrade-worthy... it packs a lot of features for the cost (same as E55).
Pity about the camera and lack of the optical D-Pad but we'll get those on the premium E72. Pimps.
Even so, I as an expert (NOT) in this market predict that the E52 will be one of Nokia's biggest hits, same as the E55 will be a major flop (too many people scared of something different than T9) and the E72 will be at least as successful as the E71.
Way to go Finnish! If you only had sunlight, imagine what you could achieve!

Wow! Im rather impressed. I was a bit worried about the button layout not being the same as the e51, but im now convinced (especially by the live photos) that they are ok.
The camera is actualy ok (except for close up photos). The sample photos from the review are ok.
Im glad editing documents finally came to non-QWERTY e-series phones. But now whats going to happen to e55?
Other than that this phone is flawless n unbelievably beautiful. As GSMArena said, its E for Exceptional!!

Mmm i actually was planning to get this phone 2 months ago or so, but since it took so long to get released, the 6700 caught my attention. Since the E52 got prosponed again i settled with the 6700 (already ordered it some time ago, but it's availability got delayed..), but now i've read this review and E52 seems to top most functions.
If they only put the same camera in the E52 as in the 6700 it would be perfect (i know it's a business phone, but business people are at times also in need for a decent camera).

As I expected, quite nice. I'll wait for the E72 however because of the camara and optical pad. Plus more memory...

It reminds me of the spv c500 but very much more powerful..The video is fine and cam ok but nokia could use the sharp gx30 solution of a macro lens switch to capture writing and buisness cards....Battery,,slimness,,and spec is super for a such a device..I love it but its still symbian and taking a break from symbian for now plus i fancy xperia x2..That said its still tempting with good audio and 3.5mm jack,,,mmmmm ..

As an E51 owner, I have been very satisfied and impressed by the build quality and performance of the device which will certainly become an absolute bargain with the arrival of the E52. The E52 is likely to be a major success for Nokia and I would imagine, as with other recent E series devices, that its appeal will be far beyond just the corporate market. It may also lead to many deciding to opt for this device instead of other consumer oriented offerings by Nokia.
