Samsung B7330 OmniaPRO preview: First look - read the full textSamsung have just released their B7320 OmniaPRO and now, just a few short weeks later, they are introducing the B7330 OmniaPRO. Some might think there is something wrong. To get straight to the point...

I have this phone and have one major gripe about it:

The email buton on the bottom row takes you directly to send an SMS and doesnt let you configure it.

If you just want to go into your inbox to read a new message, you'll have to press and hold said button. Release it too early and you're sending a new message.

Does anyone know how this may be changed? Maybe something hidden deep within the WM config?

What are the "pressure sensitive controls" for "easy scrolling" mentioned in Samsung's spec? Are the two plastic tabs on the D-Pad up/down touch sensitive, or are they just there for effect? Suprised you didn't mention this in the review as it sounds like it could be a good feature for a non touchscreen qwerty phone.

The phone and specs look awesome (WM, lots of RAM, bar style /w QWERTY, HSDPA, daylight visibility) unfortunately not having a touch screen is a deal breaker nowadays.

Why on earth would samsung sell this phone. It a replica of Nokia E71 / E72.
its cheating ....

If any some from samsung-phones is reading (which im sure they can't read English) please stop it. Copying a phone is not good. Even this idea is bad. I an 100% sure you guys haven't sold 10'000 copies of this phone.

Well, I still regret I "killed" my old perfect i600 by dropping it so often. The fact that this phone has so much in common with it is its main advantage. I can't wait to get it and finally get rid of Nokia E71 crap phone and Symbian hell.

> In reply to Grover @ 2009-09-19 11:40 from 2xxu - click to readin crooked hands any phone could be a pain.
WM provides such usability and flexibility that any other OS hardly can offer.

why you say a task manager can't switch between apps but only kills them?
apps can be selected by d-pad and switching by pressing central key.

4th!!!!

Id take this over the E72, it seems to be more functional. Either way they are both good phones.

I must say though i am more of a fan of the B7610 :D

yeah.. but the screen resolution is quite different.. there might be problems when installing desired application with unsupported resolution.
