Dear GSMArena guys this is perhaps your worst article. All that you keep harping about is the Price. you have only mentioned the hardware part of the ph. I am sure that you have not even come close to 10 feet of any of them. you have written all this simply by looking at their pics & reading a few articles. Compare this with your articles about business phs. & smart phs. then you will see the difference. you could have atleast given an account of the UI, menu, exclusive services, accesories etc. I am sorry to say but this this shoddy work on your part as well as undignified for the manufactures.

If, after reviewing these high end products you expect to be gifted them
I wonder why you are not engaged in reviewing Bristol, Rolls Royce or Bently cars. Indeed. Why not go the whole hog? Move into reviewing Aircraft, yachts,Hotels and create yourselves a fortune.

But what happens when they bring out the new updated version of the Ferrari phone which is even more exclusive?

Oh no, then you'll be trapped in a very personal little hell of your own making. Will you dare use your phone in public, suffering the fear that someone will point out that it's no longer the latest model? How will you be able to look your fellow men in the eye, knowing that you don't have the most exclusive phone on the planet? Will you be able to live with the shame?

The promo video for the Vertu stunned me. I cannot get my head around the excess. It is pity about dated technology,I feel that for that price they should also better specced. I would rather have a Lotus than a Morgan

> In reply to Almon @ 2009-10-11 13:17 from tWiH - click to readThank you. I have never heard of Mobiado before you have mentioned it here. I have looked into it, and that is what I think the direction for luxury phones should be. A phone made with good materials and a qwerty keyboard. I will investigate this Mobiado further, maybe they can customize it for me, as I want specific materials to be used.

Gsmarena should make another review contrasting this that includes obscenely cheap phones or maybe even disposable phones in their next or a combination of the two day-off. I think that would be a good idea.

Thank you for a very interesting article. I wish they could make luxury phones with qwerty keyboards. I have read about a Blackberry of $250000, but that was a once off I think. I just wish Vertu make a qwerty phone soon.

personally they look naff. why spend all that money on a phone. just because its 24 carat gold and got diamonds. they are basic. may as well do 24 carat gold Nokia 3210. and charge 100,000 still the same idea. now it had the technolgy of say a Samsung Pixon 8920 or W880. yeah i might just justify the price tag. but all in all. its a basic crap phone with diamonds boring. dont see the point.
