No Java? Almost every Android app is coded in Java. (those crapy J2ME apps can be automatically converted to Android Java apps using a simple jar upload to a website)

Oh, and I like the chin. It sets the Milestone apart from other phones.
I would just say, make the keyboard a bit wider (stretches the right thumb), make it come with free navigation, and fix the weird music player bug I'm having (the music player starts itself sometimes, when headphones are in, but only when I'm cycling?!).

Xenon flash is overrated, I had a Nokia N82 for 2 yrs, and LED flash is fine in 90% of circumstances, and xenon flash can't be used as a torch.

Motorola really outdid itself with the Milestone. I hope it will follow up with other Android devices sooner or later.
I have tested the Droid in the US, and it really feels solid and performance is nothing short of amazing. Very fast UI, easy to understand navigation, extensive feature support and of course, that excellent form factor. Too bad though I don't have Verizon... so off to Karma QA1 for now.

This DOES look good. I do think that this phone could kickstart the Android revolution.
