Never ever buy this set. You will be in deep trouble. You cant even do a simple or receive a call. Most of the time you have to keep this set with service center. Every time they will replace with new one, which again have same problem... Worst part even their call center people misbehaved and humiliate you....

OK, for those interested, for CPU overclocking http://forum.xda-developers.co...php?t=767538
D3D // OpenGL http://forum.xda-developers.co...php?t=592663

Hope that will help those, who own X2. Also, just as a recommendation, this is reported to be working, yet I highly recommend to do a phone full backup before you tweak ur phone. Report back the results :-)

As I've read on xda-developers.com they've managed to speed up CPU and moreover, they did manage to extract D3D driver from TG01 with addendum of some OpenGL booster application. I apologize I cannot provide you the link now since I am at work, but nevertheless please do check the thread there. I think CPU overclocking was in the XperiaX2 forum (http://forum.xda-developers.co...y.php?f=647) and graphics booster in one of HTC (you can try to google it, that's how I found it in first place). Also, I am considering buying this dfevice myself since I was a really happy owner of X1 and was looking forward to X2 myself.

I just bought the X2 a week back and I can see why everybody says it is slow. Everything has a lag time because of the processor and RAM. The price has dropped and I got it for Rs. 28000 now. Does anyone know if it is possible to use advanced configuration tools (successfully) to reduce the lag in animations and heavy stuff with winmo / touchflo3d2? I can at least use it for everyday basic functions like calling and sms smoothly. Please respond. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hey great news! I just saw software update is now available for Xperia X2 at http://www.sonyericsson.com/update! Just updated mine - damn it's awesome! My phone hasn't crashed so far and phone seems to be faster. Also I love the new dialer that came with the update! Exactly as how I wanted with easy redial (press call button twice), much easier to search my phonebook and can now filter my missed/dialed/received calls. Finally Sony Ericsson! Thank you! I am now a believer and can't wait until you give me the other updates that you promised!
