Abu Rabad - Jordan , 31 Mar 2010Finally IT Release in Our Jordan Market in Black and white and begining April 1, 2010 as 600 J... more@Abu Rabad: No matter how many firmware updates arrives for X10, Multi touch will NEVER be supported by X10 because the hardware does not support it. Also, I dont think the delay for the X10 release was because they put too much effort and thought into the product. I think its because they are becoming incompetent in the Mobile Phone business. For the ridiculous asking prices of the X10, I dont think it is worth it.
Hey gsmarena how can you even tell that the audio quality is below par? i have bought the phone which i got today and the audio quality is very good.. And people stop babbling on no multi touch there are more good features in the phone to cover that drawback..
Finally IT Release in Our Jordan Market in Black and white and begining April 1, 2010 as 600 JOD in Telelink Stores. i'm in my way to buy it ASAP ignoring all Bad points about X10 and i trust SE to find any solution for multi touch - Dual Touch ASAP and upgradable to Andriod V2.1 Elicer ASAP i think they worked hard to make it and to be the best one and they have a reason to delay in his date .......................................... Iam in My way SE X10
Just as i said, there will always be something really big missing in SE flagship devices. No multi touch....... SE i am so diappointed at you, your best handsets for me have always been p910i and K800 only. after these two whatever you have brought out has been a failure.
Either you bring out of date OS or item that are too expensive for nothing. your X10 may look good just like Satio. it wont last long just like satio.
Learn from market on which handset to release when to release and how to do marketing.
Does anyone know if you're able to edit music playlists in Mediascape? Specifically if you can add songs to playlists? I've scoured the net for videos to see if you're able to do this but no luck :-(
Speed comparison with iPhone:
Nevermind the Swedish
TC, 29 Mar 2010The screen reacts too slowly, and there i no multitouch = unusable! No FM-Radio = No buy! Wh... moreyou can use fm radio with some of those of the newest sony ericsson headphones and radio app,see sonyericsson.com page for more info on some of headphones
I got my hands in one X10, and its UI experience is the best I´ve seen in any phone, including the iPhone, in some aspects. It is not about the latest release of Android, it is about what it delivers as a phone, and for those, like me, that like to be connected and tag your friends faces in the pics you have taken, it is the best phone by far. Give it a try, it is worth exploring
there is no perfect phone... HTC could make awesome UI, but they have mediocre camera! Apple has apps, but have the same problem! but some people don't really care about those drawbacks. me?! i don't care about the drawbacks of this phone! it will be an honor to have a rare phone in my hands than the common iPhone!
they say it's bad.
But it is NOT!
It's not perfect but Timescape? AWESOME!
bummy, 30 Mar 2010Have you guys seen the solution to lack of multitouch? 1-finger zooming is much better IMO ... moreYup I agree. You need both hands to pinch zoom. But not so with the one finger zoom. And it looks cool!
[deleted post]Seems like the X10 is the perfect phone fro you then. But don't forget some of those lacking features may be deal-breakers for other.
GSMArena are not prioritizing disadvantages, they are simply being objective. High-end devices shouldn't cut corners.
They've listed similar disadvantages for the Nexus One, the iPhone 3GS and whatnot. yes, they are copy-pasting - but it's because similar flaws appear again and again.
No hardware for multitouch ? I thought the hardware for multitouch is a capactive screen , thats present in the X10 , its the software that recognizes the multitouch on the screen...
its unfair that gsmarena puts a review on x10 with other devices........its not even a review its comparing the x10 to the other brands...
Have you guys seen the solution to lack of multitouch?
1-finger zooming is much better IMO than having to use 2 hands. Check out the X10 Mini image gallery video ~ GSM arena blog.
thtcpapa, 29 Mar 2010X1 was not manufactured by SE OEM product by HTCI wonder why HTC never encountered such problems.........Is it HTC's ploy to kill competition from SE? I do not think so and I never heard or read so. It was really disheartening to see how SE is most sluggish in release and R&D. They are just bad copies of good stuff displayed neatly. I have wasted a lot of money behind SE and the new products do not look worth to give another try.
