How does it matter it is steel or aluminium ? This just proves you're obsessed enough with your phone to actually have digged that info in the keynote.
Second you didn't try in the setting I told you, unless you went to the country to try and come back, low reception area, that's when it drops calls.
Or you can just touch that black bar for 10 seconds and notice your bars dropping by at least one and stop being a blinded fool. I just tried it on a friend's iphone 4 (european model first series 35xxx)and it does suppress as many bars than covering the whole phone in death grip.
PS: galaxy S can store 16gb + 32gb (sd card) that's 48gb, suck that ?

You don't even know that the iPhone 4 doesn't have any aluminium, it's made of stainless steel.
You just blew your credibility with a regurgitation of Internet whining.
I can use my iphone anyway I want anywhere there is signal and there is no issue.
The full 32GB memory is available for Apps, it is not limited like the Samsung, only 2GB I've got over 5!

M.j, 06 Aug 2010Was finding this an interesting review, until i realized that you scored the galaxy s better on... moreYou are comparing the Amoled screen of the Incredible with the super Amoled screen of the Galaxy S. The "super" in that is because of the improved readability outdoors. I suggest you take a look at the screen before you jump to conclusions. I do agree with you though, that there is no comparison between the two - the Galaxy S makes the iPhone 4's screen look washed out. Seriously. Compare the two side by side and check for yourself.
As far as the quality of the music player is concerned, I'm not an audiophile, but to my ears, the music sounds about the same in my iPod Touch as it does on my Samsung Vibrant (using the excellent headphones that came with the Vibrant). In the past, I have always thought that media playing was one area where the iPod/iPhone trounced Android. That's no longer the case. I'd have said that both are equally good except the outstanding movie watching experience on the Galaxy gives it the edge on that front as well.
The Samsung Galaxy S is an amazing phone. Easily the best mobile device I have used - and that includes the iPhone 3G.
Anonymous, 18 Aug 2010Which phone would that be?

In an area with a reception superior to what touching the border may destroy you won't drop your call.
That's the design flaw of the iphone. Touching the aluminium border at the black separator makes the reception lose about 30dBs, it's fine if you already have 120 dBs where you live or are using your phone commonly, but if you are in the country in a forest where your reception is already as low as 30dBs => enjoy your dropped called while a grizzly bear kills you.
galaxy S is best phone till date, better than Iphone at any given time, liked the unique feature of 2 GB exclusive for Android applications, no body thought that way before, for me Galaxy S 9.8 out of 10 and Iphone 4 6 out of 10. i can say that because I work for a telecom company in UK ..... enjoy the it.
When using the free sat nav on my Galaxy S I discovered it has no GPS problem and knows exactly where i am
To me the Galaxy is a much more significant device than the iPhone 4 which is just a slight improvement on the 3GS which was a great phone in its day, but the press are only interested in Apple.
The Android Market has a lot of apps now, Tweetdeck just came out in beta and is great. People may be less likely to pay for an Android app but businesses will follow the users and the app range will get bigger as Android take up improves. Once the PSP/Android and Windows Mobile/XBox phones come out then iPhone will look tame

i have a samsung galaxy s and i love it, the only reason people would rather have an iphone over it is because its made by apple (eg: most would have an ipod shuffle over a sony walkman mp3 player) people would easlly choose the samsung if the iphone was made by any other phone company and really thats all it boils down to, but i would still take an iphone if someone offered one to me for free (well who wouldnt)
It's kinda funny to see how it boils down to this according to comments & reviews: do you want a phone that has problems doing phone calls or do you want one that has problems getting GPS navigation lock. Other than that, it just seems to be a choice between being a casual consumer and a power user accordingly.

If SGS is such a crappy smartphone it would not outsell iPhone 4.
