Samsung D600 review: Black star
Samsung D600 is a mobile phone with a brilliant display, 2 megapixel camera, memory card and a lot of functions. It will win you over with its stereo sound and the many possibilities for TV connection.

The looks and the design of the ph. is facinating but it lacks on the low sound, delay in clicking the picture and then getting warmed up for the next click,no games, battery life prb.,does not saves files to sim card directly and the msg. option saves it first and then sends and the last thing is the wap key is in the middle which shd have been in the side and the menu option shd. have been there instead of wap key,and their is no screensaver, initially it is difficult to manage but once u get accostomed then everything seems fine.
The picture and sound quality is great, the display of video is clear, the bluetooth connectivity is good.the biggest advantage is its sleek design and is the in thing instead of those big hard to manage phones.

There's a nice offer in the netherlands for this phone, 10 euro every month, for over 2 years.. you get around 10 euro to call ed. in a month and the phone is normally 300 euro and you pay olny 240, so 240 euro + 60 euro.. so a nice profit. Look here: http://www.tele2.nl/webwinkel/...orderid=d600 (use www.freetranslation.com.. ;)..)

The phone looks better than what it offers. I have it for 2 days and I already have a few things that i think it lacks on: 1. the camera blitz(in 1600x1200 mode) almost blinds u until it actually makes the picture; 2. there is no vibrate and melody at the same time mode; 3. u can't see pictures or videos in full screen; 4. it doesn't automatically save outgoin msg, only if you select every time so; 5. after 12 hours I have only one line in battery. There are some other things that i can't think of right now, but it has also a few good things too!

I'm afraid that I really dislike this phone. The navigation around the functions is so badly thought out. I used to have Nokia's where everything you wanted to do was only one or two steps away. Now I have to take 3/4 steps to do the same thing! Examples below:
1. Why is the main menu not on the main button on the phone? I'm forever switching on WAP - which should be on the side button. Rubbish.
2. When I click send on a text, why doesn't it default to my SIM list? I don't want another list to be the default. I've already put my numbers in my phone once!
3. When I send, why isn't save and send the default? The default is send only and i've yet to meet a person who wants it this way round.
The list could go on for a while. I'm sorry -but I can't wait to get back to Nokia.
