Samsung I9010 Galaxy S Giorgio Armani review: Fashionware

Samsung I9010 Galaxy S Giorgio Armani review: Fashionware - read the full textItís not the suit that makes a man and itís certainly not a big fat logo that makes a phone. To be honest, the last thing Android needs to boost its credit with users is a big designer name. But for a change, this is one of the rare examples when a smartphone is not being eclipsed by a fashion phone...

Ive had this phone for about 6 weeks now and it was great at first. Now, it has to be charged at least twice a day (even when it hardly gets used) and its really slooooooow! It randomly started to slow up out of the blue. This phone constantly freezes and takes 10 minutes to load facebook or even to type a message! anyone else had any problems???

Regret Nothing new!??? Better wait to see whether Iphone 5 or LG Optimus Back (dual core and promissed better battery life) can be a better choice phone for 2011.

the first page (Introduction) said that this phone has Secondary video-call camera.

but the second page (Unboxing, 360 degree spin, design, and construction) said none about it.
the second page only mentions earpiece, the proximity sensor, and the ambient light sensor above the display.

even the manual book said that Samsung i9010 has no secondary camera.

so, which one should i trust?

I will never understand why such phones as these exist. Overpriced, low on features. They're basically expensive paperweights.

What is the point of this review, this is just a Samsung Captivate with Android 2.2.

Looks good but in my eyes not worth the premium.
The fact that the reviewer is so happy seems to be because of some slight improvements in design and materials. Wow...?

In my opinion, the Galaxy S should have had the better materials from the get go. It's a high end smartphone made out of rather cheap feeling materials.

the new armani version seems improvement from the original galaxy s. however unless samsung get their GPS issue sorted out, it would not be as good as it should be.

Just an exact clone of the Samsung Captivate with an extra "Armani" logo printed on top. I guess that logo itself is worth 200 Euros...

Wow. I'm impressed with his phone. Normally I would expect a fashion phone to be bad, but this time samsung has outdone themselves. Finally a phone withe bread design and software. Even when placed next to an iPhone, the design seems better. I might actually save up for this when it comes out.

Ok, its clearly better feature wise compared to the iphone4, looks though I think the iphone has a small upper hand, display - the armani clearly wins.

I kinda feel cheesed of with my iphone, its good - but there are some things it just cant do right :-/

and no i didnt buy it - it was a gift

Samsung i897 captivate looks just the same and is much more cheaper with the same functions.it may not be built with high quality materials but i still prefer captivate which is 200$ cheaper than this overpriced phone.
