Right now, I havent fiddled a lot and it goes through the day (morn to even) with 10% left. 2Hrs music, 1 Hr wifi, 1 Hr call and in between games sometime. I feel there is lot of optimization I have to do from my part to improve it.
I feel it might last 24 Hrs after doing something I learnt today. Will try out during weekend

> In reply to Raghav @ 2011-02-10 08:18 from 9DS0 - click to readi do not knowhow to read th exact ram..it says:
Other:58MB in 3..Avail: 84MB+52MB in 10
It adds up to 198
I am not sure when the amount of RAM comes into play, but opening multiple apps is not a problem till now (Honestly I havent explored enough)
I bought this form Samsung Brand store in Forum Mall, Koramangala(3rd Floor)
I was going to buy Optimus one..but after looking at this babe..its diffcult to choose anything else + there is the concern of dirt accumulation in the LG set

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2011-02-08 12:15 from 9x82 - click to readJust bought the Ace yesterday in Bangalore. Now available only in Samsung stores, the seller said it arrived yesterday evening only and we were probably the first to buy in Bangalore.
Price 15.8K, we haggled and got it down to 15.5K. Just had it for few hours and YES i m loving it!
Only, only downside will now is cheap bundled earphone. Hellp my Corby pro had way better one.
Do ask if any one has any queries in particular

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2011-02-06 19:04 from 31E0 - click to readi agree with you... a phone can be made in rectangular shape only... any company wont change it to a triangle or a circle so that it doesn't seems to look like an iPhone... and in terms of functionality, iPhone is a complete piece of shit... people buy it just for what it looks.. not for what it performs.. Android is the ultimate OS in terms of performance and functionality..

everyone who is complaining about this phone to look too much like an iphone has to know 3 things:

1st: the iphone is based on samsung technique
2nd: the design isn't really a "design" it's minimalism, a black box with an apple. everyone can "design" that
3rd: you're just jealous because now you get a better phone with the same look for half of the price + a lot of freedom included :P

A cheap wanna be iPhone look alike. This is what makes an iPhone look bad. No wonder they pushed out so many phones. No thoughts in the design but copy everyone else. Sad, sad, sad.

"We would have really appreciated the TouchWiz music player we saw in Galaxy S Giorgio Armani because of its better looks and Disc View option. We guess it’s reserved only for the Galaxy S lineup."

Not true. It's also present in Samsung Wave. It's exclusive to Hummingbird/Powervr sgx 540 running phones so far.
